Very enlightening. Even new, a fully loaded cr-z navi is just under 25k. I really like the interior. Gonna look at a few up close tommorow. I dont plan on moving on a decision until january the more i read and look at the cr-z i'm surprised how much i like it.

i think those have been discontinued by honda so be weary of parts availability and such down da road. and they are slow compared to its shape and unpopular. was never the crx it was supposed to replace to battle the frs/brz.

I drive a 2015 Mazda 3 hatchback with a 6 speed manual. Very nice car and it is fun to drive. If you were to buy one, I recommend you look for a 2015 or newer and get it with the 2.5 liter 4. The 2.5 has more power yet still gets good mileage. If you want an automatic, get a Mazda 3 with the S touring or S grand touring trim level. they come standard with paddle shifters. One note. Mazda has changed options on the 2017 Mazda 3. You have to get a special option package in order to get the paddle shifters with the auto.

Make sure you do a thorough test drive. The CR-Z was touted as being one of the worst handling cars, just a few years ago. From my knowledge, Honda never made huge updates to the car since it came out.

There's a reason you never see them on the roads. The hybrid system doesn't produce that great of fuel economy, it's not fast and at least used to handle like ****. The car was a complete slap in the face to the previous CR-X.

Honda can't even give them away. Annual sales are like 1200 per year. Like with all quirky Hondas (the Element, the Ridgeline, the CR-Z, etc), there's a small cult following that adores the car... But for most, it's a complete disappointment.

I am not a fan of many fords but the focus ST is pretty zippy for what it is. Gti also comes to mind, or a civic si.

Id add a fiesta ST, cooper-s, and also golf-r to da mix.

I vote the Fit. I just got one myself, 2015 ex, 13k miles, $17500 with and extended warranty. It's slow but practical, has a ton of space inside, and I've been getting up to 48mpg, average of about 40-42.

I read a lot of bad reviews on the CR-Z which I was originally looking at. Bad handling, Meh interior, etc. There's a reason they are discontinuing it. So far I love my Fit.

I'm thinking about trading my 370Z for a new Chevy Malibu, maybe in the next few months.
Growing out of the whole sports car thing.

I still havent pulled the trigger, the subaru crosstrek is my top non sports car under 25k commuter that im looking at now. I test drove an audi s4, amg a45 as best of both worlds z teplacement and great rides but just too damn expensive IMO. Didnt tealize how much ive reall enjoyed 6 years with it until you drive other stuff.

Everything i like better is just far mar expensive to either own outright or the regular maint is stupid expensive..

should check out the new Impreza wagon if Subaru. it is an entirely new platform and from the initial reviews it is far better dan the last gen.

only issue is dat dey are now made in Indiana... :ugh: aka quality issues.. or just save up a little and get a new WRX. WRX are still made in Japan I believe. vin should start with a J

Do you have the CVT for the Fit. Heard Honda has transmission issues.

I do have the CVT, read a lot of reports and from my research Honda had one of the most reliable CVT's out there, no recalls or anything that I know of. Just to be safe I got the extended warranty, 7 years/100k miles on the tranny. Not planning on modding the Fit so that should take care of it for a while. I'll do regular tranny fluid changes and I'm not racing or tracking it, so it should be fine.
