2004 Lexus IS300, about to hit 100K miles. It's also a very enjoyable and fun car to drive.

Tein Coilovers
HKS Exhaust
Aftermakert wheels

Engine is completely stock, mostly due to that I'm considering getting a turbo kit maybe in the future, just need to find a shop that could do it and a good kit for it.

I use a '10 G37 sedan. Had it since it was new. Obviously a fast sedan but handles poorly. It should never be compared to the Z. I could not get the seating position I like in this car so that part is annoying. Feels heavier than the 328I. I would take a G37x sedan over the coupe anytime and tune it. Very reliable but has its own little/minor issues here and there. There's an intermittent cowl noise. All 4 rubber window trims along the door that keeps water from leaking into the interior of the door shell has melted ($80 a pc). Diff bushing needs to be replaced (same thing happened to My Z). Brakes could be better too.

Stock Avalons aren't 280 HP...I think they were rated at 268 or something. All 3.5 Toyota engines in 2015 were either 266 (Sienna) or 268 (Camry, Avalon, Highlander, etc) unless you modified it (why?) then disregard

2003 Jeep Liberty Sport, 4" Lift, 32" All Terrain Tires. Daily Driver. Does not compare to the Z, Two different rides for two different reasons.

Gentlemen,

My daily driver is a 2012 Subaru OutBack Wagon, and my Bride's is a 2011 Lexus ES350.

How do they compare to the 370Z? They all have 4 wheels, a hood and a trunk. And that's about it! Oh, yah! One of them puts a smile on my face that approaches being illegal in all jurisdictions.

The day after posting this, I was wiped out by a hit-and-run driver who blew through a stop sign in my residential neighborhood.

My bike was totaled and I'm in the hospital with a shattered hip, shattered right foot, five broken ribs, multiple bruises and contusions.
And I was wearing full protective gear.

The good news is that the idiot's front license plate was ripped off by the impact of him hitting me and now the cops are after him. I haven't heard anything yet but I could hear something in the next day or so.

Happy to be alive, it could've been much much worse.

Doctors tell me I'll be in a wheelchair for about two months

Wow. So sorry to hear that. Get better soon!

Red Hot Sloth 10-14-2016 10:24 PM

Youch, so sorry to read of your misfortune, healing vibes, I hope justice prevails.
Ive been wheelchair bound due to accident myself with multiple broken bones, ORIF's (open reduction internal fixation). While it really sucks, just know, your going to heal, it takes some time, just stay positive, bust your *** with PT and youll be back to normal before you know it.

On another note, my daily has been a Titan crew cab since buying it new in 2007. Before that was a ford crew cab bought new in 2003. Our kids are grown and out of the house so finally...(sweet relaxing exhale), I was able to purchase a new to me PW 6mt sport Z last week, kept the Titan, do way to much truck stuff to not have it, but its not the dd anymore. Loving my new sled!

While I appreciate the condolences,
I think I'm gonna have to call you on incorrect use of an Emoji

This :icon18: doesn't really seem appropriate in this case

Thanks anyways

My apologies, was just pointing at the above post, which was yours, instead of quoting. Emoji says "icon18", did not realize it meant anything other than pointing above.....

Anyway, get better soon.

I was DDing a Hemi 14 Grand Cherokee Summit until I bought this last July

http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...718_094856.jpg

A 2015 leftover that I got for a pretty good price :)

Comparing it to the Z, I don't feel its faster than the 370, will see how it handles this Thursday, anyway, it is more comfortable that the Z and low end torque is crazy compared to both Z and Jeep.

my daily is my trusty 2002 tahoe... the Z lives in the garage most of the year.

beemerkid 10-15-2016 06:53 PM

1997 Ford ranger. 2.5L four banger, five speed, bench seat, reliable as a hammer. 253K miles, and doesent burn any oil. not comfy or fast (I lost what *I* understand to be a drag race to a prius, that I had a 5 car lead on) but I couldn't care less where it gets parked. good air conditioning and hauls my crap around just fine.

BboyZ 10-15-2016 07:02 PM

My DD is the rsx type s Turbo. Z is bit slow, but the drive quality is a lot better. Cant wait to TT my Z.. :p

2 versions. The SP1 for under $20,000. And the SP2 for under $25,000. Both are the 25th Anniversary Edition of the CBR. The SP2 :yum: would look great next to my 2007 25th Anniversary Edition VFR.

Thanks for posting that I hadn't seen it, That is one sweet bike, it's about time Honda

My Ohlins shock is OK I'm not sure of the forks are salvageable.

I was thinking about maybe getting away from sport bikes but, that's making me reconsider.

It's funny how many people have been telling me they can't believe that I would think about riding the motorcycle again. I just tell them I can't imagine going through life without one. Only fellow riders understand that

Instead of a sport bike. Sport tourer. There are some nice ones out there now. I embarrassed a few crotch rocket squids on my VFR in my time. My Mich Pilot Powers are worn to the edge. No chicken strips.
