I dug into my purchase and remembered that for some reason, I didn't have to pay a core charge, so I ended up taking the old battery to Auto Zoned-out and got money for the core. Cha-ching!!
I just checked their site and if you do the old online sign-up, they give you 20% off of your first online purchase. They also now have a $20 core charge.

I bought my first Red Optima from Optima's site a few years ago and paid $150 shipped.

Like everything else, the prices seem to have gone up quite a bit. Black Friday is a good time to find deals on these.
