Than God for that steering wheel, I can hang on while I lower myself into the seat. :bowrofl:

+1 for you. I resemble that remark!

You forgot to mention the "grunting" sound getting out of the car...

That's really the way to go for racing. Did you see the AutoBlog series on shifter cart racing? Pretty informative.

I've thought of selling the Z for a Viper GTS or a Lotus Exige S240 (the latter is my current next-car favorite)...

anyone into the MK IV supras? saw one on friday, and couldn't stop looking...of course I eventually had to since I was heading the opposite direction :happydance:.....the thing that gets me though is that.....its hard to find a perfectly stock one that is not $70k..... TT is obviously a big want, but the N/A wouldn't be too bad. Have only seen 4 here...lol more than the 370z

speaking of TT...anyone got $16,500 I could borrow :D

lol was looking at them and though this was a N/A.....then I realized that the N/A exhaust manifold goes over the engine....

I'm also looking for a NSX... always loved that car

Before the Z came out, I was at full speed trying to buy an NSX. Most of them are in NorCal.

I made an offer to the first one; he accepted; and, I arranged for a PPI. At the last minute the owner changed his mind.

I moved on and pursued a 2nd one. Same story...owner changed his mind. 3rd one, same thing. I was p!ssdd.

I gave up. I still have the itch and maybe in a few years I'll scratch. :)

Well NSX's owners are very proud of their cars and often have seller's remorse and dont sell them at all

I just washed my car, removed and cleaned each wheel inside and out!

I think i will keep the car after all, LOL

Yep! I agree. We'll see their proudness untill the next V8 or V10 NSX comes out. :)

If you sell your car to car dealer then you will get less money if you sell it by own then it is possible to get higher price for your car. Selling a car by yourself it is always better option and you can do it easily using some good websites for selling cars.

You probably want a vette for the sense of culture and life style and cache that goes along with it. The Z tends to carry a younger tuner life style that doesn't appeal to all. I too was thinking vette till I went and drove one now I'm fully set on getting a Z. I'll be coming from a tight nit car culture and so far I haven't quite seen the same type of Culture around the Z. But I will say this site is a lot closer than my350z.com.

I figure I would throw my 2 cents in. Just closed a 2 month long search for a new car. I had an 06 S2000 for 4 years. I loved that car but it was time to find something new. I really wanted a corvette so I test drove several new vettes from a base to a grand sport and even a used Z06. I then drove a couple of other cars like an M3, 370Z, 335i, 5.0 mustang (just for good measure), etc. When it was all said and done, I really couldn't beat the complete performance compared to the price of the Z. And in most cases the Z outperforms more pricey cars. In my opinion it is the best car for the price. Not to mention, a TT setup and you are right there with the corvette's power.
