Time for the gf to buy you some car parts! :happydance: but seriously though, look on the bright side, she's alive and unhurt! and you don't have to apologize the next time you slipped it in the wrong hole :tup:

LOL. I was angry but yeah after a few mins I realized:

Car hurt, she unhurt and I get mad.
Car hurt and she got hurt and I wouldnt be mad.

That made me realized my attitude towards it was wrong and am happy she's ok. Car can be replaced. She can't.

Before I clicked I thought she scraped it on a curb

But that? Where people can see it? That's just unforgivable. Make her sleep on the coach. This is purely disgusting. Like what if she smeared poop on your face? Would that fly? Because this is like...the same thing.

I can't believe what I just saw. I just don't know what to say. I mean I have no words. How could she do that? Man if I'm driving and I see you and then look down a bit and then see that it's like "ugh". I'm just gonna pretend we're not driving the same car or something. I don't wanna be associated with that. People will be like "oh will that guy scrape against us too? He drives one of thoseeee. "

Put a paper bag over that car it's just unbearable. Make the paint guy go to your house so it doesn't see the light of day until it's fixed.

^ When you know she reads the forums.

But no really, that's a good attitude moving forward. Hopefully repair doesn't end up being too much.

Don't know of any shops in San Jose but that city is big enough to have great shops. Good luck. And yes at the end of the day it is just a car.

Remember, never let your gf play with your firearms or your vehicles.

If one actually drives their car, sooner or later things will happen; rock chips in the paint, window, maybe a flat tire, pulling in too close to a curb/over a curb. It's inevitable.

Oh man! That car is toast. Probably best to trade it in before the carfax hits

Forego the repair and spend that money on a mod for the Z :twocents:

go online, find a company, there are several, that does custom paint in a spray can, email in color code, and buy paint and clear coat. teach yourself some basic body work...its easy and results will be good. you can always redo as you learn...goes for wrenching too....just a thought

Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

It is possible to body fill it and buff it then color match he paint if its a tiny spot it shouldn't be that much.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Has anyone tried and had success with this? Op pm me and I can give you info to place I had my bumper fixed. I'm in San Jose too.

automotivetouchup.com

very reasonably close match for a $10 rattle can :twocents:

I haven't done any body panels - only interior trim pieces.
