Default Removing Z1 Test Pipes

Thinking about removing the Z1 test pipes from my car. They're currently paired up with short tail AAM's and I really love the sound, but I just thinking I'm getting to the point where it's too loud and obnoxious. Especially with winter rounding the corner, cold starts in my neighborhood will be brutal. Never got a complaint though so that's good.

Has anyone gone from test pipes to no test pipes and kept the exhaust? Wondering what your thoughts are on it and if you regretted it.
