Here in S. Florida it is any scrappy car that's been lowered with a cheap and angry bumble bee muffler. Usually a Civic. I won't even look over in their direction at a stop light if I hear it approaching.

i didnt realize how fast Z's were until i looked up paper specs and performance. I can see how a muscle could mistaken the ability of a Z :).
|
Most people that have those cars don't even know the rev limit or how to drive them anywhere near it. That's why I fear mustangs...just one push of pedal away from disaster!!!

not for nothing, i took my traction control all the way off which is available in my model due to the super trak pak and spun it out. I wasnt even ******* around, late at night just cruising with a friend. I whiskey throttled it, hit the curb on one side of the road then hit the other and landed next to a tree on someones front lawn. Neither of us were hurt nor anyone else. I had about $2500 damage to a two week old car and learned my lesson.
My generation (im 29) for the most part doesn't know how to control a rwd car without nanny control help. We are part of the FWD safety generation. I walked away with an immense amount of respect for the power and how quickly you can lose it. |

^Nice cars but I seriously doubt they could crawl over the kind of obstacles my long arm WJ can. Especially the Bimmer; it would get expensive replacing things that shatter due to lack of ground clearance/suspension travel.:eekdance:

There was a stupid '16 or '17 Charger SRT (silver with black racing stripes) that came flying up on my *** this afternoon in a 35 mph zone, probably doing well over 50 just to catch up to me, minding my own business in the right lane. This jerk was all over my *** for about a mile until I very slowly passed a Honda Accord on the in the left lane. There was about a 12 car gap between that Honda and the BMW in front of it. I knew darn well that this moron was going to try and jump in the other lane and either screw with me or pass me. So as I was just getting to the front of the Honda, I dropped from 5th straight into 2nd and waited for this idiot to make his move. Sure enough, he did just that, and I freaking nailed it to the floor. All the way up to 70 mph, and he never was able to gain on me, just keeping even with me at best. Needless to say, his plan was foiled with that BMW in his way and he never did get ahead of me. In fact, he ended up getting back behind me again and stayed there for another couple of miles until I turned off. Of course, he had to floor it through the intersection to try and prove a point.
Generally I wouldn't do such things, but this dude was pissing me off more than anything for that first mile, so I just wanted to make sure that I would piss him off in return. And I think I did. |
In the Bay Area no Challenger has given me s*** yet. Same goes with Camaro and Mustang owners. Not even Golf GTI/R owners try anything. At worst an Integ or Civic driver will act like they're keeping up on the highway, but that's just whatever.
Only drivers who seem to be legit bothersome are those who drive Prius and pretty much any economy car. They won't let me in their lane and ride my bumper at stop lights. It's petty stuff, but sometimes I legit have to gun it just to make the point "you're not fast; you're in my way" or something. |
That Prius part literally happened for me today. I needed to change lanes and that butthead would not let me in.

So when I tuned my car there was a frs waiting to get tuned. Was like I'm hoping to get about 260 at the wheel? I was like Uh I baselines 280...
For the amount of money he spent on the car + kit + car (probably pushing his stock clutch too) he should of got a better car |

Price difference between base 911 and most expensive 370z vert is at least 30-40k. Difference compared to 911 turbo= 2-4 new Z's FI= 10-14k. There is your explanation  |
Shots fired!

This was today. They all parked after I was already there. See unlike OP and some others I only make parking pals. Cayman is local but the other two I've never seen until today.

I think if I had more patience on a deal for a Gen2 Cayman S...I would've. BRB parking pals |

I had some clown the other night trying to mess around in a brand new Camaro 2SS. He kept revving the engine, chirping the tires in 1st and 2nd, and dodging around in traffic, swapping lanes more often than a porno dude swaps women. LOL
He was trying his best to get this V6 powered sports car to play, but I just wasn't having it. And of course, the funny part... With all of that revving, racing and swerving around he was doing, he never got any further ahead of me than if he just drove normal. :shakes head: |
