between 5-7500 i did notice some burning but nothing intense. maybe about 1/4 the way down on the dip.

in regards to the fluke... possible was aftermarket/after purchase install.

There was a dude willing to do $2500 shipped (to me in TX at least) for a set of both seats and door inserts very recently. Despite the seemingly high price, that was a hell of a deal. The Persimmon seats don't come around often, and they are often fetching nearly that much alone. The door inserts are almost never included

Seems unlikely the way the door panels are....

Is there any way to run a vin to see what options come up on the original sticker?

If the door panels are leather and not synth suede, then they are aftermarket. I dont think vin searches are that specific but idk.
