Print out this thread, write that across the first page, and hand it to her.

Tell her you want to speak her manager.

I would be calling my insurance agent and explaining to them that the adjuster is a fuckin moron. Let them deal with this kind of $hit; that's why you pay them. And if they feel differently, I'd dump them as soon as you get this claim taken care of.

Just show the gear ratios in the owners manual, no?

If the adjuster don't know what overdrive is just teach him.

Good luck, Your gonna need it. If you still owe on the car I hope you have GAP insurance. My 2012 Nismo was totaled. The high mileage got me at 60K miles. All comparables only had 30K.

I had my neck surgery due to the wreck on June 20th. To put salt on the wounds even more my Wife was hit in he rear in her Maxima that night coming back to see me at the hospital. It is a total loss also. Hope it was not your fault.

Nearly all cars made in the last 20 years or so have OD transmissions. Back in the Good Old Days, some vehicles would have a separate OD unit, but nowadays they just add some gears to the transmission (the 7AT is OD in 6th and 7th). There is no difference between your OD and the OD of other Nismos (or any 370z).

Ask to speak to the adjuster's supervisor. Adjuster's handle many types of vehicles so it doesn't surprise me that they're not that familiar with 370Z's. Suggestion, find other comparable cars in your area with similar mileage and equipment to show the adjuster valuation. The adjuster is probably using CCC. Take a look at KBB and NADA to get a better idea of value if you haven't already.
