Look for a parking stall at the end of the row with the painted cross hatch no parking area. Park as far over or partially into it as you dare (parking attendants will vary on what they'll tolerate). That's what I do at work and I can easily open my door all the way without hitting the car beside me - not perfect but its pretty good anti-door ding insurance. Requires getting to work earlier than the rest of the mobs.

Thanks for you all's advise about parking.

Not necessarily. I travel quite a bit and park at my airport's daily garage. It's a little more than the Fast Park or Park and Go lots (but almost even if you add in tipping the private lot drivers), but I'd rather pay a little more for a covered and patrolled garage. Anyway, it's 9 levels, and I typically park on one of the higher levels where open spaces are a plenty. I've never had a problem and I think most airports have these type of facilities. Most people park on the lower levels because as a general rule people are generally very lazy.

You're lucky, man. I sometimes have to Park at JFK in NYC. Don't get me started. It's like parking your car in Hell for a week.

Well that sucks. JFK is one of my least favorite airports to travel through. When I was a kid I had a whole checked bag of Transformers stolen (I had a lot - like all the Destructicons, Jetfire, all the Dinobots, Rampage, Soundwave, Shockwave, Jazz, Smokescreen, etc.) and the baggage handlers destroyed a carved wooden mirror my dad was bringing back from overseas. This was on the same trip. I also remember having to get on a bus to go from the national terminal to the international terminal and almost missing our flight because of it - this was years ago, so it may have changed since then. Luckily I rarely fly there - it easy enough to take the train up to NYC from Baltimore if I have to travel there. BWI is a pretty well equipped airport when it comes to facilities and is easy to fly in and out of, which makes most of my travel pretty easy.
