Aaand the fb post on the dippers group was deleted.
They only charged you 1k for an AF job? Was the rest of your paint OEM? I'm just curious because most of the time peeling issues occur with aftermarket paint jobs. They should have let you know this in advance though. Looks like there was a total loss in communication and quality of service here. The panels should peel in one piece, but there were obviously issues. Prep is a huge factor in this and it's also possible that not enough coats were applied. |
I've seen their work on my buddy's car and his car came out great. It even peeled off very well (entire panels) so my decision was pretty straight forward, based on his car and instagram posts.

Yea it was posted and then the admin deleted it shortly after.
The shop should have gone over a few things with you before proceeding. I'm just curious, but did you already speak with them in regards to some sort of compensation yet? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk |

And no I have not. It took them a week and a half to process my request for a refund along with all of the lies and bull, I'm just not having it. |
I forgot the name, but he mentioned that he was looking at getting it done there as well.

I'm not sure about autoflex, stick with the regular plastidip products https://www.dipyourcar.com/.

It's funny seeing some of the responses I get from zilvia.net forum members. One could easily tell the age differences between this forum and zilvia. :shakes head:
nonetheless, I'm hear to just spread my story and prevent anyone from going through what I went through. |
I was going to post on that thread, but I ended up deleting my paragraphs of rant. Too many people are quick to judge without doing any sort of actual research.
I would def leave a review on their shop page. You could post the experience on the fb dip pages, but I have a feeling they'll just be deleted. This is probably due to the fact that you didn't try to work out some sort of compensation with the shop before posting. On another note, I'm going to be autoflexing my car in the upcoming month or two. A buddy of mine is lending me a booth and I'm going to definitely spend a lot of time on my prep work after hearing your story. I hope you can get your issue resolved because you really should be compensated. By the way, who is going to be wrapping your car? |
