How tall are you? And how is the comfort level in the Z for us taller guys
I orderd my Z and it should arrive within 3 months (2010 model)
My question is im 6'1 and, i test drove the car befor i purchased and im comming from a 2004 G35 coupe. The drive feels aloooot different which is fine and expected. And in terms of room it doesnt neccessarily feel like theres less (leg and headroom) but i feel more closterfobic. Which i know its just a matter of getting used to being a 2 seater car. How tall are you? and how comfortable do you feel in the 370? Thanks, |

That said, I've done a few single driving days of 700+ miles and survived just fine! |
6'6" here and I just barely fit. I have the seat all the way back and down and I have about an inch of head room when I lean all the way back. That being said it works just fine for me.
|
6ft and no issues. If anything I think someone MUCH taller would fit rather comfortably in this car. If anything I feel it also eliminates some of the side mirror blind spot issues I've heard people complain about.

6'4" 230. No probs here. Better than an s2000.
|
5' 11" 170 lbs - fits like a glove.
|
5'7 135 lbs no issues here.
|
6ft, 175, I love how it feels. You almost become a part of the car, thats what I love about it, it holds you.

This is shocking info. i didnt really expect anyone over 6'3 to fit in this car? im in Canada are you guys going by 6 feet and w/e inches? Is it the same for measurements lol |
6'2 or 188cm - No problems at all. I just have the seat about three quarters back and the base of the seat angled really low at the back and a little higher under the knees. Headroom has never been an issue, although if these had sunroofs that would change things.
It does feel claustrophobic at first, but after a week you don't think twice about it. |
6'2 and it's fine. the seat is all the way back then locked in. if the hair is long and extra spikey that day then i might rub a lil, but no big deal.
my gf's g35 coupe is worse. i've got the seat all the way down (front part up a lil to compensate) and i'll rub a lil regardless. opening the moonroof cover helps lol. i remember sitting in a 350z when they first came out and there wasn't as much head room as there is in the 370. |
I am only 5'6 but am built like a Panzer tank or Mike Tyson.. The Z really has a fighter cockpit type feel. Snug but satisfying....
|
6'2" and I'm actually glad I'm this height - it feels like you need to be a bit tall to look over the mirrors.
I have the seat all the way down because I like being low, and I have enough headroom to wear a helmet. I do wish the wheel telescoped out a bit further; sitting with my hands in proper track position makes my legs a bit tight. That said, it's way better for me than the Cayman, in which my knees were jammed against the dash... |
6'0 here. Fits great with no issues of discomfort.
|
6' 1" and find it very comfortable.
cptspeed yes, S2000 was crap in comparison lol |
6 3 and no problems its funny that everyone is almost above 6ft tall who has replied
|
I'm 5'8 and feel if I were a little taller, I'd actually be much more comfortable. I have to put the seat SO far forward because I have short legs.
:crying: |

Funny how that works. :stirthepot: |

I have to duck quite a bit to avoid hitting the roof/door interior portion, if I'm wearing a hat, it'll rub when I get in... I get in by sticking my right leg in, grab the wheel with my right hand, then curl up and slide in sideways. Getting out, I stick my left leg out to the ground, trying to avoid the door, then pull my right leg out and down while turning sideways, then put my left arm on the upper part of the seat and push myself out. |
6'5'' 235 fit is snug but well worth it.
Only after long drives does it seem to get to me, feels like my azz is to wide for the seat. Knew I should have bought the Miata. |
6'0 180 lbs. i fit perfectly. I test drove a G35 coupe and for some reason the driver area felt smaller than a Z. call me stupid but it felt a lil more cramped for the driver than a z =/
|
6'4" 220, I fit better in the Z than I did in the G37 coupe. Watch your head when you get in, haha.
|
6'1" 190lbs Comfy as hell.

Me 171 cm[5'8],feels comfortable, but this car badly needs a steering wheel that can adjust for reach[telescopic],it will make it more comfortable for people with big belly...

As far as fitting in the Z, I fit pretty well in it at 6'6'', its not easy getting out but I still fit inside pretty good. I haven't been in the car with my helmet on yet so that might be a problem, I might have to modify the seat height to fit comfortably with a helmet on. |
6'4" here, it is a nice fit, I would like to lower the stock seats if possible but 90% of the time it never bothers me.

5'11", and no problemo with ergonomics in my 350Z!
|
Another 5'11 - 145 - feels good. Almost need a few more pounds to take full advantage of the thigh pads and actually feel small looking over the dash. But headroom, reach, seat position - all ok.
|
I'm 6Ft 185 lbs and for some reason the leg room in a Touring is less than the base. I guess is the auto seats. That is why I don't want a Touring, I want to be able to get the seat all the way back.

I am 6'2, no complaints here!
|
Has anyone 6'5'' or taller tried tracking the 370z with a helmet on? How comfortable was it? And any clearance between the helmet and the roof??
|
6'2" checking in, I had plenty of room in the Z
