It's a big reason I want to get rid of it. Plus other reasons, but damn is it annoyingly difficult trying to talk to my GF in the car.
Its cause you're not married yet, just wait...

DD a Z is no big deal, I used mine for my work car and put on over 250,000 miles in 6 years. Tires, biggest thing is swap them side to side once and a while. The CSC is going to go, but is covered under warranty...so your good for a while.

Oh and get a clear bra on it.

Can't swap directional tires.

Only if you purchased the extended warranty, is the CSC covered after 3yrs/30,000mi.

Clear bra the entire front end. I did 1/3 hood and regret it. I should have clear bra'd the doors too. ******* rock-lined freeways.

Im thinking he meant to dismount the tires from the rims and swap sides. Thats the only way that would make sense.

That often times puts the same amount of stress on the tire, negating the treadwear.

I DD'D a G35 sedan for three years, including 300+ mile drives for work almost weekly.

Conti DWS have a 50k warranty (25k if the shop enforces the can't rotate clause) and they performed well.

Forgestar wheels, OEM sizes, but +20mm offset.

Phoenix streets are setup in a grid. Just squares, less wear and tear on the tires, because less turns.

Maybe, but even then you're not supposed to... unless I'm being too gullible with the "outside" mark on the tires.

depends on what tires you have... and how you drive.

10k miles out of my re11's on almost at the wear bars. fronts still pretty good.

I was hoping for a bit more but I realize it's because I accelerate fairly aggressively as i try launch myself to the speed limits... oh and take corners with a bit too much spirit. not drift. spirit.

my use is mostly weekend, road trips and occasional daily.

oh and boob... sometimes it's a good thing that it's too loud. other times it's like this:

gf: girlfriend mumbles...

me: WUT YOU SAY?

gf: mumbles....

me: YOU NEED TO SPEAK UP OR I AIN'T HEARING YOU! LIKE REALSIES

gf: I'M MAD AT YOU!!!!!

Default I would do it in a heart beat

I have had 2 Z's now and love them as a DD. I might pick up another car to keep some miles off the Z but I would not hesitate.

I DD mine. Five years later, and I still love everything about it. I get about 8K miles out of my rear tires on average

But I also do a lot of highway driving. It's comfortable (to me) and gets really decent gas mileage if you don't have a heavy right foot. Tire mileage is going to be dependent on your habits. Highway miles help tremendously.

I use mine as a daily driver but I only have less than a twenty mile round trip to work and the road conditions are decent. The distance would never stop me from using the Z as a DD someone place else but road conditions certainly would.

Current DD is a 95 Nissan Hardbody V6 5mt. Running strong with 214k.
Other ride is a 13 Titan Crew Cab.

The Titan will remain my wknd ride, but I've decided I need something sporty to help me enjoy my 90 mile round trip daily commute a little more. I know the 370 is not the most practical choice for that.

I feel the bang for the buck for a new base model is really good, and I can keep the manual trans. Was considering CPO G37 sedans before.

I know tire life isn't great, but with mostly hwy miles is it possible for me to get 30,000 miles out of a set of tires? The car won't be tracked. Also has Nissan made any changes at all to the CSC? I'm hoping if I buy a new 2016 or 2017 model I won't have to worry about that. Those are the biggest things I'm questioning at the moment.

Thanks for any feedback!
since u have the titan for other tasks, im sure u can wing it no problem. there are tires dat last longer dan the 8-10k i usually get on my summer tires.. like check out the continental tires.. might even suggest the DWS06. i started running those on my STI this winter, not bad. i mean u cant DWS06 in snow with the Z, but u can use ur truck for snow driving if any.
