plus my wife LOVES to drive in the fast lane all the time. once she told me a story of a cop getting behind her and coming over the loud speaker yelling at her. :roflpuke2: and she's arguing with him that she did nothing wrong and he's going on and on. too funny, and not surprising at all.

My wife's first car was a 2013 Sentra, and by the time we sold it last year after two and a half years of ownership, the car literally looked like it was hit from five different directions simultaneously. I knew getting an inexperienced driver a new car wasn't the best idea, but it was her birthday gift. Besides, it was just a basic Sentra and I thought she'd be more careful considering the car came straight out the dealership. Big mistake. The first day she drove the car, she ran over some poor kid's skateboard, which somehow ricocheted and put a nice dent on the right rear door. She had three speeding tickets within a year, hit a grocery store wall and gouged the front bumper while trying to park, and scraped the right quarter panel twice while exiting the mall parking area. She also ran over a dog, which luckily for us, was already dead.

We just moved back to Germany not too long ago, so my wife technically doesn't have her own car right now. She occasionally drives my daily driver, a 2001 BMW 540i, and she's been great. She really loves the way the car drives and says it's leagues ahead of her Sentra, but somehow, she wants a 2005+ Porsche Boxster for her next car :bowrofl:.

I have never seen a gal drive a 370 around here except for my wife and that's rare (see beginning of thread). and that's probably a good thing. :rofl2:

My wife is actually the main driver of our '11 370Z. It's her daily driver/winter beater. She has never done anything close to the horrors mentioned here. I'm actually quite proud of her driving.

I thought of this after my wife would have hit someone if I hadn’t warned her and of course she got all defensive. Too bad her driving isn’t defensive. Arr arr! So overall she’s not bad but she has her moments. Like on our second date when she hit my car! She rolled forward on my hilly driveway with her manual 5.0 mustang and hit my monte carlo ss. Plus she’s had 2 accidents where her car almost got totaled. Or when she hit a car at a stop light when she was watching the cute cows in the field. Or when she hit a car backing out of our driveway on 2 different occasions. Plus she’s been stopped for speeding a couple of times and other violations but has always got off without a ticket. I know this sounds bad but this is in 27 years of marriage. But you can understand why I worry and cringe when she ever takes my car! Oh yeah and once she went to take my supra turbo out for a drive but she got out to run back inside for something, forgot to set the parking brake and it rolled with the driver’s door opened and crunched against the garage door frame, wedging the car and bending back the door like a pop top on a can of beer. But she is getting better. Her current car is 13 years old and has very few boo boos. Anyone else?

I SO Feel Your Pain... Just as an example, and just since Dec 2015, GF totaled out one car, reversed into another with her newer car, got hit from behind in the same newer car, hit a deer in the same newer ($8700 worth of damage, shocked the car was not totaled), got a speeding ticket, got a ticket for improper lane change...:icon14::confused::mad:... and this is not counting previous transgressions....

... and no, she does not TOUCH my cars... (yeah, plural... 2016 Maxima Platinum, 2011 370Z Touring and 2005 Titan SE...):p

I reluctantly gave the keys to my wife. Note: see my op. holding my breath.
