Because ZdayZ.

Got an appointment for mine next Saturday for oil, CSC, and brake fluid to be flushed and replaced with Mortul. Tech asked how many miles where currently on the car because their last record showed 1,100. When I answered 1,800 he asked why all the fluids where being changed he loved the simple answer of ZdayZ.

11 days to go before the fun starts for me.

I can't wait already have a week of after works cleaning planned out. The only place near me that any one would recommend for detailing starts at $300.00 so I'm going to have to put the elbow grease in myself.

I'm going to do a wash/vacuum/clean the mats this weekend. next Friday a wash/wax will be done.

might be pointless as I think my front bumper will turn into bug splat nation. :bowrofl:

I always try to start a road trip with a freshly-cleaned car. -Makes no sense, but I can't help myself. lol

I figure the better prepped I get it the easier it will be to get it ready for the show. Just not willing to drop the $300+ prior to a 350 mile run to the mountains, plus the mileage I'll rack up when I'm there.

if you want to enjoy the road and actually push on it best to go early. however with the size of the event now even the mornings get some back ups here and there but less or no cops.

I went on the early morning runs everyday last year and the spacing was fine. It works out well because everyone lines up in order of speed (aka driving skill) for the most part so you don't have slow drivers holding others up. When in doubt, start towards the back and work your way up.

i'll be there earlier so I was planning on doing some runs and spirited fun mon-wed early mornings. well maybe just take it easy Monday to explore.

any other roads other than the dragon worth mentioning to drive/explore?

If you hang around with the MAZOC group, you'll get to explore a good number of those roads.

I'm well aware of the morning runs. However at 7am I'm still well above the legal limit to be driving let alone the dragon.

Now I have said this year I will be partaking in one morning session. that's also dependent on my livers cooperation.

Definitely worth it IMO. If you can't drive you can always come for a ride, but you'll still have to get your azz up in time. I can show you what a really nice exhaust sounds like, especially when you're not limited by 6 cylinders ;) :bowrofl:

I am so bummed this year because we had to back-out  :crying:. Already had the room reserved at the Lodge and really love this event. Have to start planning for next year.

This is by far, the best Z event of the year

• Starts out like::driving:
• Then :eekdance: :excited:
• When finished: :woot: :happydance:

Hope you guys have a great time and STAY SAFE.

Can I make everyone jealous and say that I live 45 minutes from the dragon? Because I totally do lol.

On another note, I am really excited for this years ZdayZ, as I have a place to crash on friday night just up the road from Fontana. Last year was my first event, but I didn't get to be there for any of the fun stuff. This year will be different in that aspect, and next year I will be there most of the week, if not all the week.

Got all the camping gear laid out today. Now to try to stuff it all in the Z. Less than a week I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas

The Nismo is ready. It's all nice and clean, inside and out. Oil changed, tires rotated, everything is checked. Now for the bad news. I got a head cold! Had it for about a week now. Feel really miserable. I'm hoping the wife doesn't get it.

Hope you feel better looking forward to meeting you and seeing the car.

I'm gonna have to tackle to detail after work this week
