Import Face off Ennis Tx. Who attended?

Ok so I went to the Face off but I didn't enter my car in anything BUT I did see a stock black 370z sport with coilover or springs. If I were a gambling man i'd bet springs. He had a 370z.com sticker tastefully placed on the lower center of his hatch window. This forum brother though in the show, left his car unattended the whole time I was there
Second Z, I saw on the strip. He was silver with those Audi lights modded into the headlights. He didn't drag anyone. He just dragged the strip alone in 13 sec. flat.

By the way. GT-R's were killing everything out there. BMW'S subies, mitsu's. If it had FI and was boosted to high heaven, it lost to the GTR baby. I love that car. It has balls. Lol
Overall the event was kinda weak. Vendors sponsors and clubs seemed semi-disorganized for this event. But it seemed to be that way more due to the event holders not really having any real game plan. No music, no entertainment. I expected more for $17 per person entry. I won't be doing this again till my car is ready for competition on this level. It was a weak show for spectators.

WHERE WERE ALL THE IMPORT HOOCHIES??? Only one NOS rep running around giving out flyers. Hot Asian chick but the show needed more meat. Lol.

I left kinda early. The drag races were the most interesting. Gencoupe owners represented. So there were 2 370Z's and 4 gencoupes, plus my Z in the parking lot which technically added a third 370. 350's were plenty as G35's. To my surprise, NO MODDED
G37??? HMMMM?

Ok last thing I expected was for a bunch of my puerto rican brothers in the middle of the hillbilly movie set of Texas chainsaw massacre to show up with every gen Rx-7 and RWD corolla in the show. Lol.
These 2 cars are the "unofficial mod cars" of puerto rico. Evos, civicsand subies hold runner-up while Z's and supras hold last. (The price jump of nissan in puerto rico is unreal. Z=$50,000 base price though its a US commonwealth).
This made me miss my Rx7. but an Rx8 just doesn't cut it. The gen 1 thru 3 Rx7's were the best ever.
