=/ true......Parts handling and sales handling should be handled by the same person or at least they should have some sort of protocol because i think that's where they're slacking.....if they had a system in place, I don't think we'd be having the issues with delays....but idk....I don't know how exactly they run things.... |

So I messaged Aerojacket on FB last night. I got a response at 12:07amEST.
Below is what they said verbatim "Hello it is going to be going out next week.we just have a lot of orders in U.S and oversea so we are a little backed up.we are not of of business.we are just not on the fourms anymore. It is just not efficient enough for us to be on there your order will be going out next week thank you" Hoping this is true. |

I understand that all trust me, and I was bringing in the example of Sam because Sam took a bunch of money and had no intent ever of shipping those orders. Aerojacket isn't doing that, which is what I was getting at with that anaolgy.
Gotta keep orders coming in though to keep a Cash Flow going to keep the business going. If there is not any new profit for Rich to work with to keep the business up and running. The profit he made from all the old orders was still used for bills for the business while he wasn't there. So he can't just focus on waiting for all the old orders to arrive to his shop to ship them. He's gotta create profit for himself so he can maintain the business in the harder time he has made for himself right now. That's why they were saying things are delayed and backordered for newer orders. They are trying to get the past due orders shipped. Most of the time I rationalize from both sides. |

So here are the closer pictures of the turn signal cutouts. A little rough and a buddy of mine who also ordered from aerojacket said his turn signal cuts on his fenders were cleaner then this. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12...9699379de8.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12...11628b40cf.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
So here's my story: Ordered a Zele style bumper on 8/20 w/ a "2 week or less" quoted ETA; which I knew was inaccurate. Following order placement I received little to no communication on from their side. I had to bug the hell out of them on all communication avenues I had for status updates (FB, forum, emails, google voice phone, and paypal #). The bumper finally arrived on 9/30, DAMAGED! My shop rejected the shipment and sent the driver back. The box however looked completely in tact and the bumper was bubble wrapped securely; so I'm not sure what the hell happened. Refer to pics below.
http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10...fe6f910d27.jpg http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10...ce3e2c1640.jpg They called me immediately when I sent them email notice of the damage, and promised a new one would be rushed out with a partial refund. Ever since returning the damaged bumper, I've been waiting going on now almost 3 months. Supposedly it was picked up from them on 11/14, and sent to the shipping warehouse/freight forwarder awaiting shipment to TX. I send them FB messages almost weekly now, which they eventually respond to, but has been nothing but broken promises...."next week, ok next week for sure, ok this time I promise next week." I've yet to receive anything, or that partial refund. The last message I received on 12/19 stated: "If it don't get there today sat, then Monday -Tuesday any day soon.we think all the shipping is pretty busy right now" Nothing Monday, and I don't have my hopes very high for Tuesday. I'm starting to worry that they are going to just keep my money. I'll probably just do the whole paypal claim thing very soon, but I'm trying to stay patient and doubt anything will ship around holidays. |
If the boxes were intact and I know Rich wraps the hell out of it with bubble wrap and tapes it in multiple sections. He's a bit OCD like that and wouldn't ever send out a broken part. When I bought my spoiler, he sent me a pic of a tiny imperfection in the clear coat and had it sent back to be re-buffed and cleared.
Could be that the shipping company was not careful with it. I have seen multiple security came footages of those workers throwing the packages literally as hard as they can. They even try tossing the big packages as far as they can. People are getting their parts slowly, but surely. Rich is working on it. Remember if you file a paypal claim and they return your money, you have to return the replacement item if it already is shipped already. |

And they are still using the same exact shipper unfortunately for me. :shakes head:. I understand that if I filed a claim and got a refund, I'm liable to return what has shipped...but that's if anything has shipped in the first place. So far nothing. And as others have mentioned, as soon as that claim goes through, they magically ship the product. Funny how that works out. I'd just appreciate it, if they gave some realistic/truthful information and not just more of the same :bs: I've received weekly. That way I'd know what to expect and could prepare thy :icon23: |
Stop wasting your time file a claim i guarantee you once they see that you've filed they'll contact you, seems the norm these days! 3 months? you have to be F*ing kidding me man, you got some patience.

I have a feeling that Rich is contacting the people, whose claim's are accepted through Paypal, due to an additional third party mediator which now sets a time limit for Aerojacket to respond to Paypal and get the product to the customer, otherwise they will refund the money and Aerojacket keeps the part, wherever it may be; production, in the shop, shipped, etc.. Also I can see Aerojacket trying to ship the parts to paypal claims people first because it would eliminate Rich having to refund money he doesn't have liquid right now due to recent events. Just got to keep following up and see what happens. Either way it will get taken care of, Paypal or Aerojacket Parts. Also for everyone thinking that I am easily talking to Rich through this mess due to knowing things; I haven't had any contact with him from attempts either. I have a feeling it's because this whole mess is going on and I don't have a current order that is being bought or needs delivery and has a claim open personally. Talking to me for the little bit he would about the parts you guys want, wouldn't do much besides delay him working on things to get your guys what you want. Still trying nonetheless. What I know is based off a small group of family/friends/business partners. I know Rich hasn't asked me to help out here on the forums and from the jist (what Zero34 said earlier) of it they aren't coming back to the forums. Being able to feel for Rich at this moment and being his friend and owning parts from him that were delivered (to my apartment and met with me since I live 5 mins from the shop or so) within 2 weeks with production time, makes me believe that this is a major hiccup in his business and personal life and is trying to make right by it the customers that have been out on products. Want to make sure everything on the forums goes smooth for the forum members that bought parts and need them or need them fixed get helped. Not only will it help alleviate situations like; a worse case scenario here on the forums from happening... again.., customers have products and Aerojacket is able to work through everything owed to old customers, backordered to new customers and build for future business :tiphat: For the people who have claims out there, How long do you find Aerojacket taking to contact paypal or contacting you. I know I saw a couple of different answers in posts as to when Aerojacket contacted you after the claim was filed. Was wondering more or less days and hours just because if it is within 24 hours of the claim being filed and they contact you, then it does seem like an expedited solution for customers here because Paypal usually gives Sellers on Personal Accounts 30 days to respond. Do not know what deadlines they have to meet as a Paypal Business Account. |
I filed a PP claim late one afternoon and received a PM from Alex the following morning. If that answers your question Gavin ^

So that is one within 24 hours of the claim being made. Thanks Jose!
