Keep 2015 or change to 2016

Long story but basically I have a chance to get the dealer to rescind the contract and take my NISMO back with no mileage or use offset, including returning my down payment and any payments made while they pay the note and take the car back. I would intend to immediately re-buy a 2016, pending availability of white (I see a couple on Nissan's site).

the question is should I?

Pro:

1) new car again
2) Do-over on rock chips and curbed rim I never fixed
3) better built? No CSC issue? Seems unlikely...

Con:

1) inconvenience
2) break-in again
3) CSC again?
4) risk white not being available
5) Possibly not built as well? Outside of the CSC issue fixed, haven't had any issues.

The Bose engine audio thing sounds a bit retarded to me. I would turn if it off if I could but otherwise no change. Minor charge for white (dumb) but think I could be quite aggressive with about $10k down...

Thoughts?

Why would you do that? I'm missing something here.

The only reason I can see giving the car back is to get new features (I think they can pump in engine noise through the stereo in the 16s ) or if you just really have something against the car you're in currently (for whatever reason). Otherwise, it's probably not worth your hassle.

lemon?

No the car is fine. I was less than satisfied with the dealer and their offer is to rescind. I'm not sure it's worth the hassle...

i dont know how long u keep your cars, but if i had the opportunity to do something like that where my cars had chips and curbed wheels, i would go through the hassle and get a new one.

The CSC issue is not fixed on 2016 by the way. Many here have reported 2016s with CSC failures at very low mileage.

Or wait for the Z35.

I'd def go new, if the contract was the same

If you don't have to come up with even $1 to trade and get a year newer, you're essentially making money: making back a years worth of depreciation.
