Just curious.....but why do you think the dealer is to blame? Is there evidence that he has not submitted the paperwork?
And what would writing a letter to Nissan corporate do? Nissan does not control the dealer or the state/county depending on who is at fault. I agree about calling the DMV to get the straight answer. |

If it is used and the car was traded in with a payoff...then there is a process in which the payoff is made and title needs to clear and sent to dealership...once the dealer gets the title they must list themselves as owner and transfer to next buyer.
Some banks drag their feet with payoff/ title work...and could cause it to delay for weeks at a time...remember dealers sell up to hundreds of cars a month depending on size...your not the only car sold. Be patient , nothing to be furious about.. good luck ! |

I think I'll reach out to the DMV if of course I can get them to answer the phone. The car was purchased new for everyone else. Also, please keep thread on topic... No names. Confirmed, plates are not behind stealer tag. |
Call Ted Cruz or Rick Perry.

Texas
I'd figure with all the people locked up in Texas jails they'd have plates up the ying yang. Hell, just the number they have on death row.

Temporary plates = free tolls. Who wouldn't want temporary paper plates? :)

Before I opened this thread, I thought this was going to be about someone's Z being vandalized but then it's about waiting for plates? Haha! We bought a new family vehicle almost a month ago and we are waiting for the plates as well but I'm not going to sweat it. They will come when they do.
