I test drove the 370z!! Haaaa!

Is it the clutch that is smooth or the gearbox? I've never had much issues with the clutch, but there's quite a bit of play with mine (half way down before it actually does something mechanically). Do you hear the clunk and whine in 1st and 2nd? I wonder what's different with this transmission compared to the '08 besides sensors and rev matching.

No it doesn't. I can tell you that every time you hit a gear, you wont miss it. Every gear runs very smooth, they are short. It is just the hydraulic clutch is very smooth.
The only thing that I notice kind of wired is when the sport mode is on, every time you put Neutro and you move the shift stick, w/o even setting a gear, the engine works through the auto rev match. I will have to get used to it.
Damm, I love that Manual Transmission....
I will be getting Base, Sport Package 6 MT Platinum Graphite, and considering White....
