14.4 for a 3.8 Genesis. Stock I've seen 13.5. Yea that 14.4 is for the 2 liter not the 3.8

13.8 according to this test:

The 3482-pound 3.8 R-Spec two-door we tested needed 5.2 seconds to hit 60 mph, 0.3 fewer than before. The quarter-mile went by in 13.8 at 104 mph
So a half second slower.

I don't see how anyone can call the 370Z "slow" in any event - 0-60 in 4.8 and 13.4 @ 105.6 stock. Add a CAI and catback plus a tune and you could be looking at 13 flat or high 12s.

Theres this guy, his Handle is Veetec on the 350 forums who ran an HR...stock at 13.1 @107mph.

:iagree: You want the Z's true competitors (RWD, front engine, 2 seaters, with similar power plants) you get Audi TT, BMW Z4, Porsche Boxster/Cayman.

EDIT: I realize the Porsches are not Front engine, but other factors are consistent

The Audi TT is either FF or AWD not FR

It's not the driver, it's the car.

i have no problem with the quickness of the car . I have a problem that this 3.7 engine uses gas like today's modern v8"s . You may as well have bought a v8

But you bought the car anyway knowing that right? You did know that before you bought it?

Yeah, I definitely agree - even with a 6MT...I can't get above 18-19 in city...

i honestly don't get how some people that aren't boosted get such low mpg's... i have a cbe, intakes, and tp's, plus a tune and i'm still averaging about 22mpg's. no, i don't drive like a grandma.

also, if you bought this car for the mpg's, you bought it for the wrong reason :p

City driving. I think my average MPH isn't even 20 so I'm around 18-20mpg.

UNKNOWN_370 08-14-2015 04:16 PM

I get 16 mpg's... It is what it is. At least gas is reasonable

ped 08-20-2015 10:46 AM

My MPG averages moved up by 2 MPG in both city and highway after my breathing mods and UpRev tune.

Lol mine has gone down significantly since my mods.
