MPG vs Gear Change Graph?

Just wondering. Does anyone have a MPG vs Shift RPM graph? Max effiecency speed on freeway in term of MPG? Probaly will not use it on weekend fun drives but weekdays I may be useful :)

I noticed if I shift @ 2.5k - 3k RPM I get about 25MPG ave between Hiway and City. Spirited driving 4.5k then I get only around 23MPG. and pissed off driving shift @ 6.5k then around 20mpg.

Of course all this is one guy's data so probably not very accurate.

If I keep shifts under 3.5k, I'm right around 18-19 in city. Aggressive 4.5-5k shifts put me at 15-16, and cruising @ 60 on the non-interstate highway has me at 23.

Never heard of such a graph but it sounds like you are creating one by keeping track of your driving habits!
Just drive it and enjoy it!Thats the graph I go by.

My first 3-4 days driving, I payed more attention to the mpg monitor than I did to the car itself.

I promised myself from now on, the only thing about gas that matters is making sure I don't run out of it!

During off and on spirited driving for a few days I averaged about 18.5mpg. On a 200 mile road trip at about 80mph both ways plus some driving around town before, after, and between I got about 23mpg. I'm averaging 20 now with a different 50-60mph commute.
