When a girl knows how to drive manual it's already quite impressive imo, but when they have a DD manual that's so awesome ! It's amazing when girls are interested into cars like we are. Means there's alot to talk about and easier to convince to mod haha. But it's not common for girls to be car enthusiasts, but it's awesome!!

there's nothing wrong with autos. i've driven nothing but manuals all my life and the 370Z is my first auto and honestly, i've grown to like it alot. even during the test drive, i was extremely impressed.

so if a person doesn't drive a manual, this means no "man card"? what about those dudes that drive a manual but don't know how to change their oil? would that make them less of a man or require them to turn in their M cards as well?

I don't know any personally, but I love a woman that's into cars and not afraid to get her hands dirty. Better yet, the perfect trifecta:

#1. Drive a stick and into cars
#2. Financially independent
#3. Can do 10 pull ups ( unassisted )

I'm a gym rat for those wondering about #3 :)

Haboob 06-29-2015 08:36 AM

People perk up and are excited when they find out my GF drives the Focus ST (6MT - Fixed for Kenchan).

Usually it starts out, "Who's ST is that?!" :icon17:

Rather her have to deal with the silliness than when I drive my car and get, "Who's Z is that?"

the important thing: she's gotta be a woman, not a man-chick. i can't have her show me how to work on my car (ie michelle rodriguez). i hit the gym 5 days/week, but cant have her be stronger than me or kick my @$$ (ie ronda rousey).

What's to "ummm" about? I'm not a big talker, so I don't care to chit-chat about the car. :icon17:

You do know Michelle Rodriguez never drove a car before until the first fast and furious movie and only drives eco-friendly cars right? :icon17:

So, she can't show you how to work on your car (even if she is more knowledgeable than you), she can't be more fit than you, but you can mooch off of her?

That's douche-bag territory.

Austonian 06-30-2015 11:07 AM

The only stick I want my woman driving is a butter churn.

Austonian 06-30-2015 11:08 AM

so it's wrong for me to think that guys should really do their homework on knowing about their cars and also get up off our @$$e$ to ensure we're fit?

so because i said she can possibly sponsor you = mooching off of her? not what i meant, but if that's how you took it, your problem

you must be really bored if you've been watching my posts like a hawk and trying to use them against me lol

austonian, i'm not calling you out, but rather just using your comment as an example. hope you don't mind :tiphat:

Austonian 06-30-2015 05:46 PM

if taken out of context, yes, It was a sexist but my second comment implied that I was being satirical whereas your comments seem to voice your true opinion.

p.s. I dont have a problem with women.

blackcherry20 06-30-2015 07:01 PM

:hello:
I have finally gotten comfortable driving Harry so I only smile when people notice him. Not sure I have ever run into anybody that was impressed that I was driving the 6mt. Except maybe the goify sales guy when I bought it. Smh. I knew more than he did.

Not watching your posts like a hawk, but it was easy to put together.

No, it's not wrong to want to become knowledgeable on working on cars or getting/staying fit, but what you wrote said that women shouldn't be better than you at it. That's what makes you a douche-bag. And yes, if your first comment/reaction is that "she can sponsor you", that's being a mooch.

No, that comment along is a sexist comment. Beyond douche-bag territory.

Regardless, back to the thread topic.
