I believe I was the culprit in the revival of that thread :horse:

Better to dig up a relevant six year old thread and post in there than start a new thread :tiphat:

Not something I would do, just because of possible lock-out problems, but it's not what I would call a lame mod, either. It's your car and money, do what YOU want.

I love the look of the shaved handles but I wouldn't be a fan of not being able to open my car.:rofl2:

Last week was the rear bumper delete, now it's the key hole. What's next? perhaps an engine delete?

Oh nvm...the FI guys have been doing that for years :rofl2:

Delete the keyhole and if you need to get in use a brick. Problem sloved.

Do whatever makes you fell good. I don't care what people think about my car, it will stay stock for a good while because it doesn't bother me. I think the delete would look nice on the Z.

I don't know why but when I read that comment the J.G Wentworth commercial ran through my head. "Its my money AND I WANT IT NOW!!!"

Maybe I am missing all the threads that already cover this topic, but I cant seem to find a general consensus on whether the "key hole delete" is a good look... or just dumb.

If you are so particular that the keyhole bothers you, why the hell did you buy a budget-friendly Nissan sports car?

Never said that the keyhole bothered me, just wanted everyone's opinion on the matter... hence the reason I posted it in the "General Discussions" section. But thanks for your input, duly noted.:twocents:

On a somewhat related note.

Twice I have had the keyfob run out of battery. I can open the door with the key, but even when I insert the fob into the fobgina, the car will not recognize the fob.
