Key Hole Delete, Yay or Lame?
Maybe I am missing all the threads that already cover this topic, but I cant seem to find a general consensus on whether the "key hole delete" is a good look... or just dumb.
|
wat, there's keyholes in our cars?
that's how much i pay attention to it so whether u do it or not, probably okay... but just have too much time on your hands. |

http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...le-delete.html Consensus is don't do it on the off chance something happens so you don't get stranded. |
There are a couple Z's with their handles shaved if that what you mean. I don't see a point in "deleting" your key hole unless you get rid of the handles entirely.
|
wait we talking keyhole delete or door handle delete?

But it was rather old and was wondering if anything new had shown up, and to be clear Im not talking about a handle delete. |

Ever come upon a thread and you wish you could come up with a smart a$$ comment, but can't come up with anything?
Stress sucks. |

Not something I would do, just because of possible lock-out problems, but it's not what I would call a lame mod, either. It's your car and money, do what YOU want.
|
I love the look of the shaved handles but I wouldn't be a fan of not being able to open my car.:rofl2:
|
Last week was the rear bumper delete, now it's the key hole. What's next? perhaps an engine delete?
Oh nvm...the FI guys have been doing that for years :rofl2: |
Delete the keyhole and if you need to get in use a brick. Problem sloved.
|
Do whatever makes you fell good. I don't care what people think about my car, it will stay stock for a good while because it doesn't bother me. I think the delete would look nice on the Z.

On a somewhat related note.
Twice I have had the keyfob run out of battery. I can open the door with the key, but even when I insert the fob into the fobgina, the car will not recognize the fob. |
