Ive never had to have my exhaust covered under warrenty so Im not sure but dont insurance companies cover whats on the car when in an accident? Or do you

Ive never had to have my exhaust covered under warrenty so Im not sure but dont insurance companies cover whats on the car when in an accident? Or do you have to tell them your mods and have them adjust the coverage?
