after 30 mins of driving he said his legs felt numb lol

maybe the driver side has more room than the passenger side?

Well, I'll be honest and say that 6'-2" is generous. I'm closer to 6'-1". I sit up pretty straight to help out my back, so I can see that much more torso height could start to be an issue. When I used to slouch while driving, I could have been 4-5" taller without issue. And I'm currently just a tiny bit too wide for the seat, but I'm working on that

Operating the pedals helps keep the blood flowing in the legs, so that's one benefit for the driver. I will say that I do lots of long distance driving and without cruise control (like in construction zones or lots of traffic) it can make for some aching legs. That being said, driving 900 miles round trip in a day is more comfortable in the Z than any car I've ever driven long distances. And I've rented a lot of cars and done a lot of driving in Texas in the past 10 years.

Put him in the hatch and drop him off at a gym.

Come tell HIM that. Strong as an ox and a competitive shooter. Plus he works for the sheriff's office.

He loves the car. Says it may not be the most comfortable but he always smiles when he gets to drive it!

This was the same question for my very first post lol. I have a buddy who was around that weight and maybe a smidge shorter. He fit, but not very comfortably. Whacked his head once or twice getting in. I didn't notice any scraping. :)

By myself, I have to be careful not to scrape entering/exiting my driveway. Add any passenger to my Z, and it will scrape

I dont give a crap if he is strong or who he works for, hes got a BMI of 42. For his hearts sake, he needs to lose some weight.

I'm sorry, but BMI is fuckin stupid. In high school I played football and basketball and weighed 250 lbs in peak shape. My BMI was over 30, indicating that I was "very obese". Yet my body fat count was barely over 10%. Today my BMI is basically the same, and I am no where near the shape I was in 18 years ago.

Driver side does have more room than the passenger side! I found this out when I slept in my car in between classes. Passenger side isn't as long as driver's side, even with the pedals.:rofl2:

BMI is outdated.

"The rock" is consider obese and Vin Diesel considered overweight by the BMI

Some folks are just A holes. Lostsol fits into that category. Keyboard commandos of the world, I guess. Get over yourself.

Interesting.

I am 6-5 and weigh 220-225 (on a good day) and have no problem. Z cars have been my primary vehicles for more than 30 years also. Plus I am old, jaded and cynical.

FairladyZ10PG 04-24-2015 08:00 PM

^yea i guess it all depends on the body build rather than weight I suppose

my friend's body was not built for a Z lol
