'16 gets fake engine noise

I'm not for or against fake sound, by the way. I just think Nissan's handling of the Z since launch has been somewhat comical.

i wonder if there is an 'on board a tow truck' sound too.. for proactive image training.

I'm going to assume that this would be the cheaper way out. I don't think anyone asked for engine noise through the speakers but I'm pretty sure people have complained how noisy the cabin is and instead of redesigning or adding insulation they just crank engine noise to drown out the road noise.

I thought the cabin was noisy but then I got new tires and also with a good speaker system...cabin noise =

I just picked up a 2016 base recently,can't say I hear anything coming out of the speakers engine related.Does anyone know if this only applies to the Bose sound system,or is it subtle enough for me not to notice with the base system?
