Mine is stock except for audio. I'd rather wake my neighbors with my stereo than my pipes.

I purchased my 2014 touring/sport/nav 12/30/13. Enough fund for an old person 68.

:tiphat:

I will have a supercharger and an exhaust installed in 3 months after I make my last payment. The main reason is that in Colorado we lose about 15 percent power from the high altitude and I suspect the heat issues are exacerbated since engines work that much harder here. Zs are relatively rare here as well and I have fallen in love with it, so my going boosted is more of a refresh than a desire for insane power.

Nice try, but I do not think they do, Mr. 370Derp.

2013 Touring/Sport 6M stock. Sadly, only 1900 miles on it.

Yes, stock does the trick. 350 hp is not so much compared to what we can find at anytime on the road but at the same time 350 hp is enough to get you in serious trouble. If your intentions are for street race, then you are starting on the wrong place at the wrong time. If you want to do the occasional track day or SCCA event, then is more than enough unless you happen to be an experienced and professional road racer/driver. If you want to drive along and be left alone then you are in the right track.
To me, since I have done my fair share of everything in life, at this point a stock nismo is ok. I bought it for the looks of the car and it already has some "goodies".

Stock is if you don't boost. Boost is the ultimate mod. I AM STOCK.

JC-Nismo 03-17-2015 03:00 AM

Stock is only good for the ride home from the dealer for me, I just can't do it and no car and I mean NO CAR, is ever good enough stock for me. I don't go crazy with mods, but the wheels, suspension and audio have to go. Keep it basic with engine mods, CAI, Tune and exhaust and I bought a Nismo so I wouldn't have to do any body kit so I'm good.

Stock, bone stock, changed nothing ... wait ... stickers ... the the370Z.com sticker and the MAZOC sticker. 5+ hp each. And I find it very enjoyable. It is a fun car to drive on the street all on its own. If you are going racing, any kind of racing, you will be assimilated into the collective, wanting to increase power, handling, oil/water cooling, and braking.

I have always wanted to get back to autoX so I am thinking Stillen intakes, a different exhaust, better brake fluid and different brake pads. More than that will likely be overkill for me. We'll see. We will also see if I need an oil cooler. I will change tires but I don't see that as a mod, just good sense.

I always thought when you say stock it means the base model trim.
So technically if you get a sports package that is no longer a stock 370z.IMO
Same goes for a Nismo.
