Who has the best Z?
 

Dunno if a thread like this exists already..............

After looking at many albums, I think Simota's mods are phenomenal and his is my pick for best Z on the forum.

id say start with the turbo ones then go by looks.... just a thought

Having relationship based solely on looks is a shaky situation. As you two age, the attraction could wane as you start ogling younger, firmer, prettier 370Z's in the future. For your sake, develop a deeper, more meaningful relationship based on more than just mere looks. :(

for you youngsters "modding" cars might be fresh and new to you but for me, especially the 370z, i do not plan on doing much mods.

i swapped out the stereo and some minor items that i thought
were inferior..but that's about it. :p

Uhm...to each their own? One person's "best Z" isn't necessarily the same as the next's, right? There's such a wide range of preference and taste even on this forum that summing up the "Best Z" would be like a Top Gear challenge - in the end, there's no good conclusion, but there'd be lots of ******* about (and dare I say e-pen0r comparing) along the way.

(Though I'd like to say that simota and I basically have twin cars XD)

Simota1 has the red/black one right? From what I can remember... meh it looks cool, but doesn't drive me crazy.

Are we considering shop cars in this too?

If going on looks alone i would say that ZELE Performance has the best looking Z in my opinion just based on looks :happydance:

Ya I was just being funny but we got some nice cars here...VIPs, Forged Performances is looking to be sick, Emporers Motorsports graphite Z is cool, 2xtreme's?? with the blue/black TE37s looks great. Overall tho - looks, handling, power pieces, not to many guys up there.

On a whole theme/complete car, I definitly think Zele's is #1 right now. I'm sure Mines/powerhouse will do something about that. I wish ZeroSports did something for us, they were sick for scooby's.

If all goes well and I get a subtle CF lip kit + the GTM SC, I'll be up there with the big boy toys.

You can't touch the 370z 19' rims those are best stock rims i ever seen!

There are certainly a lot of respectable setups on the forums already, but again it's really to each their own. I'm not in it to impress the world with a crazy sick car...I just want to enjoy the car by setting it a little off from the stock setup :tup:

"Best" is equivocal, thus it can mean "best looking," "fastest," "best-handling," and the likes. Mine doesn't demonstrate the "fastest/best-handling" but it's the BEST. :)

What human beings have a tendency to do is to not appreciate what they have. In other words, because they take the stock sport wheels for granted, it becomes "un-unique."

I don't have a "grass is greener on the other side" mentality. Though some old school 19" Volk Challenge would be nice...

[sigh] I can only imagine what my Z will look like in a few months when the Volk wheels arrive... as of now, no one's got this set with the selected color of choice for the 370Z. Shout out to Forged Performance for making it possible. It'll be SICK once I get them on the Z. ;)

im gonna have to go with....my list:
SEBASS370(the s-tune with a gtm tt)...his painted looks so nice.
i also like 2thextreme's. and travis for having the balls to make his car a race car. i guess Forged's Z...when they are done

Which is why I got my AME's, because thats they're version of formula silver. I love this color and it goes perfect with the graphite!

BTW - I definitly ment to include travis...sick build.

best looking z has base wheels? there are 9k wheel sets here, could have at least stepped up the sport wheels for your pick :rofl2:

LOL, well you gtta admit the boy did some nice color on those wheels on a limited budget, sounds like his paycheck goes to mods weekly.

But 9k wheel sets, meh. The beauy of the wheel has no correlation to it's price. The value is in the eye of the owner or admirer. As I've already said, I think the Rays on the Sport are freakin gorgeous.

There are so many z's on this board with far more cosmestics done.

Turbos are meaningless Fusz! Unless you mod up visible intakes, mebbe thru the fangs, or a nice intercooler slot or two on the hood, get busy Lou!

My Z will be more show than go (besides pullies, exhaust, and ECU tweak)... else I'd be in a financial meltdown. The wheels are putting a hurtin' already, but it'll be worth it. It'll be relatively stock looking besides some CF parts for a subtle modified look. The wheels will have the biggest impact on the overall look. Drop? Nada. I'm done afterwards.

Formula Silver is a very nice paint finish... someone mentioned the color as "the new gunmetal of 2009." So instead of getting another set of gunmetal wheels, formula silver is definitely the way to go! Thank goodness I didn't get phantom lip since I didn't plan to lower my car and didn't want the wheels looking small.

Haha... The set on my 350Z were LE-37T, but I decided to get something different and not ones we've been seeing on 370Zs.

HINT: The Volks I ordered isn't much of a surprise since many 350Zs and G35s have them, so they're kind of played out like SF Challenges (dad has a set on his Z32). However, these wheels were offered in Phantom Formula Silver finish, which no one could get because they were so limited. Makin wouldn't even produce them. When asked if they could offer Formula Silver and polished lip, they said YES! Once I get the wheels delivered to my front door, then I'll update the sig. Different spokes for different folks...

Damn, I thougt this was a best Z contest.
