when these release you gotta think that the next GT-R will be out or soon to be out so the HP on that will be way up too. considering it already is at 545hp and the nismo at 600hp. if next gen GTR gets the hybrid boost it'll be up to 800hp total. probably 600hp engine and 150-250hp electric add on. so a 400/450HP step down Z isn't out of the question. still will be a 200HP or so gap as the Z and GTR are around now. |
i wonder if they ever come to forums like these and snoop around to get ideas... if they don't, they need too.

next Z will still be better on the looks side most likely no matter if the genny gets a V6 boosted. |
Hey LAVA, where did you see these reports?

'14 was the last year for the 4 pot turbo. As you know, theyll probabaly be going with the turbo 6 3.3L. Not sure how interested Ill be if its not at least meeting the Z 35 specs for $10K less with all my current amenities. |
so off topic but my cousin has a 2.0t genesis 2013 i think. he got intakes and a cbe and got tuned and he's at 305whp and 340tq. while we were there some guy that wouldn't stfu about how his 3.8 turbo genesis was beating everything on the road got dynoed and i laugh at him. after the tune he couldn't get 400whp.
now to me that's sad, or maybe it's just me? also i think he must have been racing civics if he was beating everyone |
