While its ABSOLUTELY stunning....doesnt cutting the roof off a NISMO kinda not really make it, well a NISMO?

Firebase99 02-12-2015 11:11 AM

Man...Nissan is milking the Z34 for all its worth...lol. But that thing is just gorgeous. Bet MSRP fully loaded is over $61K.

jaytirbhaw 02-12-2015 11:12 AM

wow didn't see that coming lol

MC 02-12-2015 11:18 AM

my take on it is with the 370Z on its last legs and this being a "design study" in my opinion it will never happen as a Z34 unless they intend to do it for 1 year next year..but this could mean the Z35 NISMO could be launched as a coupe and convert

Looks good!

Bshields22 02-12-2015 11:39 AM

Did NOT see that coming at all! lol

I am a roadster fan so this baby is right up my ally! Love it!!!!

Not sure if I am OK with it being $61K though

Kinda bummed I didn't start this thread. I just found our like 15 minutes ago and thought, "IM GONNA BE THE FIRST TO ANNOUNCE!!!" lol

cooltoy 02-12-2015 11:46 AM

Anybody can have that by putting the Nismo kit on their roadster. And it's not even huge money.

The performance part can easily be attained with aftermarket parts.

kenchan 02-12-2015 11:48 AM

k, for the first time ever, the roaster looks BETTER than the coupe!

Other than the 458 Spyder, off the top of my head, this is the only car that looks better (IMO) than the coupe.

Bshields22 02-12-2015 11:54 AM

Crazy! That Murano BOMBED lol

Haboob 02-12-2015 12:24 PM

I only like the seats. :wtf2:

I'm on the fence there. But it is definitely the first 370Z Roadster that I think looks sharp. Very nice :yum: And those seats

The Nissan 370Z NISMO Roadster Concept Is An Easy Decision

Considering all of the Nismo parts are interchangeable with the coupe (aside from 1 tweak to the liftgate), this is kind of a no-brainer. But, the fact that the Nismo now comes in 7AT and 6MT would make it difficult. 10-20% of coupes sold are Nismos, the roadster is even more niche, then you have to decide if you do stock a Nismo roadster whether to get it in AT or MT. It almost seems like we are getting to the point where you would need to custom order a Nismo roadster because sales volume will be so low.

Firebase99 02-12-2015 03:52 PM

That is quite honestly one of the best looking CARS I've seen. I see a lot of F-type Jag in it. Gorgeous. If this car came in midnight blue, with tan/orange interior, Nav, all the goodies, etc, and had maybe 350 whp for about $50k I'd buy one tomorrow. You listening Nissan????

jwick 02-12-2015 04:50 PM

I like how they didn't bother to show it with the top up. That's the only problem with the regular roadster.

I live in Florida and have a Honda beater along with a Volvo. The hell with the top up!! Lol!

JWillis72 02-12-2015 05:15 PM

What part of Florida do you live in that it doesn't rain? I haven't like any of the vert Z, this the best looking one but I still think they are ugly.

I have two other cars for the cold low temps of 47 degrees in dead of winter, it rains, take the Volvo or Accord.

There are only 2 good performance roadsters and the only reason they are good roadsters because there never was a coup options. Miata and the S2000. It it was a hard top convertible maybe but a soft top just won't look right. IMO this is Nissan just slapping the nismo logo on anything to charge a lot more. They even made a nismo leaf.

I agree. Kind of. Boxster too. However, it just looks sooooo good. Seriously, if it had a bit more power, I'd be in one.

LAVA 02-12-2015 06:13 PM

370Z looks like sh!t without a roof

Hey, I agree. But with the caveat I said.

dotcomee 02-12-2015 08:08 PM

uhh, ya, leave the top down.

Rusty 02-12-2015 08:10 PM

From looking at this. It looks like Nissan has a warehouse or 3 full of '15 Z34 Nismo parts that they would like to get rid of before bringing out the Z35. :shakes head:

Firebase99 02-12-2015 08:18 PM

I swear, love the look. That style, with 330 to 350 to the wheel, with all tech and touring seats...for $50k or so? I'm in.

Cape Coral. We just get liquid snow. :stirthepot:

I would have bought the Nismo roadster instead of the coupe if it were on the lot. This is prime top-down season, it's been in the 50s at night so that means no more 90s during the day like the rest of the year :p
