I should've posted a little more specifically, the cars I mentioned are cars that aren't available here due to our DOT regulations, which make them lighter, more agile, quicker etc becuase they can avoid these regulations.

I was going to use the glass in JDM Hondas; of which I wouldn't call safe glass, like we have here. It's lighter, but breaks into sharper pieces, not like DOT glass here. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong- The cars I noted are cogent examples of what he's eluding to, less safety, better materials, higher cost

Thanks,

Don't worry man... he would still find a way to poop on your post even if you specified it better...he is a pro:roflpuke2:

I agree....I'm not a drag racer, but it's the only way to factually determine the cars acceleration potential and the true differences weight has on the overall situation so it may be of use to some. Too many guys here are either Quarter mile or horsepower focused. Makes me think I'm on the Corvette forum... Dropping unsprung weight, chassis balance and the things you mention are more important to me but that falls on a lot of deaf ears when you start into the HP wars (witness the now closed Nismo dyno thread).

Ah well...

You still don't get it. You took what could have been a learning moment and turned it into a "You against the world" attitude. I saw occasional glimmers of
"Ah Ha's" in some of your posts but you kept on with the denial stuff, you're right, we're wrong. That thread is closed because of your attitude, not because of anyone Hatin on you.. Your best bet is to re-invent yourself with a new forum handle and maybe some of those guys you pissed off will forget who you (really) are...

Good luck.

:rofl2: It's alright, the points were cogent enough for some to benefit, so it was worth it.

Whatever you say man...Besides all the valuable points that everyone made, i see the same "gang of haters" of this forum... kissing eachothers butts, and disrespecting people, acting as if they know everything and everyone else are idiots.

When people start disrespecting for no reason... its natural reaction to defend yourself. But now I just try to ignore dumb comments...

P.S That thread is closed, cause I asked admin to close it...

maybe the Nismo was experiencing fuel cutoff at 111mph (was it?) http://www.the370z.com/images/smilies/icon14.gif

I don't think there is a reason for you to get all butt hurt about all of this. There are several very experienced and knowledgeable people on here just trying to guide those who are extremely ignorant I.e. Chief here and yourself in the Nismo dyno thread. All they are trying to do is help but when they are constantly having to try to re teach the same thing because the ignorant people cant seem to figure it out that's when it seems like a "gang of haters"

Oh and us A$$ kissers are gang hating in the "I just took out a 7AT for a ride..." thread so you might want to go over there too!

Ah well...

All good, I hope I didn't make the "wrong" entrance in this thread/forum...I've been living in my intro thread for the most part :rofl2:

I think your post makes sense, regarding the majority of the people being quarter mile people, espcially when the vast majority of "Races" end up being light to light or on a freeway.

HP Wars always make me think of Mercedes, throw some power at it, it's okay if it's a 4.5k lb+ "super car" :gtfo2:

You obviously haven't read the thread from page 1... all i did post my numbers... and they start calling me names... and flaming me before i said anything...

You can stick that kind of advising up your butts.... I take advise from people who can give one. Noone makes these pissed off "professionals" to teach... if you are pissed off... ignore and move on... don't disrespect... that's all i am saying...

I did go thru and read and decided not to comment because there are two ways to view the issue.

First being yes you did make 330 on the dyno nobody can take that away from you regardless of the fact that its in accurate and remain ignorant to the real world and tell all your buddies how much HP your car makes.

Second (and more realistically) you can do a little research and find out that those numbers are probably bogus because you are a good 20 something percent Higher than other Z's with full bolt ons and chock it up to a funky dyno run (which happens all the time). Hell I have a buddy with a turbo stang and in the same week he dynoed 395 at one place and 450 at another same type of dyno similar conditions since it was only a few days apart and both dynos were calibrated.

Dynos can give funky numbers just as easy as they can give accurate numbers so take them with a grain of salt and research what is the norm across the board before you go boasting about some amazing pull.

And finally stop crying about it in other threads! :gtfo2:
