I just like the front
|
Apparently I'm in the minority, but I really like the car. I hope to have one in the next few years, just need to pay off my bike first!

im the only driver so the last time i changed anything on the seat position was like last summer when i cleaned out the interior? :icon17: |
seat motors come with nuclear burn a hole in your *** heat setting. Who doesn't like that on a brisk autumn morning?
|
The headlight lower part of the clear housing seems to have a curve to it. Anyone else notice it?
|
So it's July, where is the pricing on the 2015's?
|
+1

I spoke with two dealerships. They have no information?

surprised that no one noticed the pricing and sale of the upcoming model of a car with nissan is always the same time every single year..... why is this a surprise every time. Same time when I ordered my 13. Same time when I ordered my 09.
|
I'm digging the 2015. I owned a 2013 which reading the posts is the best year! Lol
Nissan took some good cues on the 2015 with the recaro seats and blacked out headlights. The aero kit is nice but it could use a little more traditional nismo style with the wing. The worst part is the wheels compared to the 09 to 14 concave five spoke wheels that's a downgrade |

:excited:I am sick of waiting. Wish we could at least get pricing on them. Impatient!
|
if i had to guess, with all the extra goodies they added.... and the fact they actually CHANGED the body of the car which takes R&D/approval etc. This time we will see a decent jump in the price, unlike 09-14 which was nothing but inflation I wouldnt be surprised to see the new nismo MSRP for at least 3-4 grand more than the outgoing model.

I photoshopped it black and red.

I like the '15's wheels better than the '14's. They also look easier to clean. Maybe someone who prefers the '14's will swap with me...

Have to agree with chii370 on this part. They're going to raise the price for the new bodykit, modified plastic colors, and slight gear changes. Hopefully it won't be too much... but we'll see. Anyone eyeing the new options will also have to pay more. Using current prices from 370Z coupe: automatic will add another $1300 and navigation ups the price $2150 more. July just started, so Nissan still has three more weeks to provide sales info and open preorder. Sadly, they didn't exactly say when in July it be available, so they might hold off until later in the month to milk anticipation. |
Sigaroo,
Thanks for the photo shop. Black over the silver for me. |
also keep in mind that its getting a lot of hype this time. the 09 nismo launched kinda incognito with everyone just responding with "huh, neat didnt know that was coming" but nismo is really stepping up their game with advertisement. starting with that whole 14 nismo vs wing suit thing. So unfortunately this may increase the price even MORE due to the fan fair. Same thing happened with the R35 launch, the 13 GT500, and the C7 corvette. All of them blew past their projected/pre promised MSRP by quite a bit due to pre orders.
Those recaro's are expensive, and we already know how much the navi costs...... my guess will officially be MSRP 45950 at least. makes me sad really, the Z might push itself into price extinction like the NSX/SUPRA/RX7 if this keeps up. Is a 370 really worth almost 50 grand? |

It's not the entire platform just the top performance spec. That price point is fine imo. There is always a market for something like the nismo it's not meant to carry the sales of the Z.
|
No worries! :hello:

still a no-go for me.

I like the front actually I might hold to see how conversion is
|
Looks pretty good in black.
|
Love the black! Wonder when these will be hitting the dealer floor?
|
Personally I owned a 2013 black Nismo and 2 changes I went to make right away was black out the headlights and new seats... This is a win on the new Nismo. Also I didn't want a large wing for personal preference reasons.
That 2015 to me looks better. Truly needs suspension drop and a set of better looking more aggressive forged lightweight wheels and exterior looks wise is done. |
Any part numbers on the front bumper, or if it reuses the 09-14 nismo undershroud and fender liners?
|
They basically took in every complaint about the nismo and changed it: limited rear visibility because of the wing=no wing, scrape the front lip=no lip, stiff ride="re-tuned" suspension (softer suspension), only comes in manual=auto option. They basically took all the things that make it a nismo and threw them out the window. The only thing that I like are the seats. IMO it is no longer a nismo, but rather a V2 sport. If you put the 2015 nismo next to the nismo sentra concept, you will see that they literally just transferred over the front bumper, rear bumper and side skirts and made them fit the Z. I highly doubt there was any wind-tunnel testing for this kit like there was on the current kit. It looks to be purely aesthetic with no aerodynamic benefits. Just my 2 cents though.

I hope this car isn't severely watered-down but then again I kind of do so I can say I had the last good year. :)
|
Read this and I like they gave the auto + new gearing..
While no changes were made to the NISMO’s 350-hp 3.7-liter V-6 (which puts out 18 more horsepower than the standard 370Z), Nissan has shortened the final-drive ratio for the manual version from 3.69:1 to 3.92:1, ensuring Usain Bolt–like reflexes when blasting off the line. At 3.69:1, the automatic’s final drive is also shorter than the standard 370Z automatic’s 3.36:1 rear end. |

Couple more pics this was from a cars and coffee in Tennessee. I'm just taking them from the Facebook page.
Guy said dealer told him the seats are 9k for both seats. They are alcantara trimmed. http://i.imgur.com/y8FMqYF.jpg http://i.imgur.com/KcErYZn.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ntorD9V.jpg |
