Any Nismo owners out there wish they had purchased the base model with the sport package instead?

Such a loaded question. Other choices should be base + sport + aftermarket upgrades or even touring/sport.

I'm happy with my Nismo. I had a deal works for a '06 Viper GTS that fell thought. That's when I bought the Nismo instead. Glad I did. :tup:

i bought a base + sport 2 in 09 and i traded in for a Nismo in 10 :)

I would rather jump off a cliff then have the base/sport over my Nismo.

Not me as well, however, I DO wish my NISMO had those leather seats! Although I do regret not buying an E46 M3.

Only thing that I would have liked was blue tooth on my stereo.

I imagine the base Z being more docile in terms of suspension stiffness. Probably more civilized on long road trips but to heck with it. Having stiff suspension makes you feel like you are in a race car. lol

Agreed. That's one reason why I bailed on Bose and decided to get an aftermarket stereo.

The 2013 Nismos come with the Bose sound system I think.

I haven't bought mine yet. Looking at a 2010. #156. But this, and the bumper paint issue, makes me reconsider the E46 M3. Just sayin'. Lol

That's weird. I thought I read that when they made the announcement on the 2013 models.

I would stick with my Nismo any day of the week over the base 370Z. If you want leather seats in your Nismo, then go somewhere to get aftermarket leather installed.

^^ True. And I could care less about the leather seats. Slippery after the detail thus not safe for a sports car.:icon17:

I like the non-NISMO Zs a lot, but the splitter, side skirts and wing are absolutely perfect aesthetically speaking. The NISMO wheels can't be beat. I am very happy with my decision.

I love the look of nismo but the interior and seats suck compared to my touring/sport. I wasn't pleased with nismo interior or rear bumper. Love the front and stock wheels though.

The Nismo is just 110% sexier than the base without a question. Also the Nismo equals pure sex too.

I kinda wished I gotten the base and added everything myself. I don't like the rear.

I had a 2010 touring/sport and now a 2013 Nismo and I should have bought the Nismo in 2010.

The rear of the Nismo is one of the best parts about the car.

My only complaint about the NISMO is that I couldn't get yellow in 2009. One of my new goals is to get repainted (complete teardown) in either Chicane Yellow or Midnight Blue.

If I had to make the choice again, I would still go with the NISMO!

Yeah, the diffuser and the additional width behind the wheels makes the back of the car look really sharp and sporty. Plus it matches the style of the front-end/splitter perfectly.

my only complaint are the fake slits/vents in the rear...... silly nissan

Its what makes the rear end look so sick on the road though. LOL
