According to the highest number on the 370z registry, these aren't necessarily the highest number out there but close:

2009: 519
2010: 702
2011: 551
2012: 617
2013: ?

I have gotten mixed answers. I heard only 1000, and the US only gets 500 of those. Then i heard 1200.. Who knows.

Still confused. Isn't it year, model, and number of production? Or do you mean it's the 5th year for the car in production?

He means its the 5th Nismo #0021, aka 2009, 2010, ect.

I wish they still did the 350z Nismo style numbering

I don't think production is limited. They simply number each one they make. That's why I think they went with the yearly number reset. With that said I think they make around 1000 or so each year, so it's not exactly huge production numbers.

I dunno. According to that, only 504 where made in 2011. Mine is #551. Bought it Oct of 2011. Maybe the numbering system is just funny?

504 made for the USA, not total production.

i thought we got word from someone official that 1200 were built in 2009. the other years we still dont know exactly.
