I have Fwd beater, but drive that on shity days. I don't p@@@yfoot my Z either. It feels better unleashed. I remember 1 thing my grandfather told me,"you only live once and you cant take it with ya when your gone. So with that's said I'm not gonna worry about the petty things in life. Especially not a sports car. That's just silly to me. Same mentality if I owned a GT-R. If I had money to purchase 1 then i have the money fix it if it breaks. Omg! Where did this chip in the paint come from?! Auhh..it's a car and meant to happen? Lol
The Z isn't a collectors piece. Im sure the majority of 370owners are already waiting for the 380z or the next Z to come out. Sorry if I hurt some garage members feelings here. I just don't get it. This car is to much fun not to drive.

To me the Z is a collectors piece. They number the Nismo's. My buddy also thinks its a collectors piece. Evidently I had the money to purchase it. It is sitting in my garage. Along with our Audi and FJ.

I try to drive it everyday.. going to skip the bad days.

For me its not about trying to keep the miles down on my Nismo, or make it into a garage queen... its just a very impractical car. I'm not going to daily drive a 2 seat sports car that I can't hardly even fit anything in it. Plus I live in WA state where it rains almost daily during the winter/fall months, not a good combo when you have summer performance tires on it.

It all depends on your definition of practical. I use mine for everything, including grocery shopping. I find I can hold a weeks worth of groceries just fine. It can also hold the luggage for me and my g/f when we go on trips. I live in Florida where it rains quite a bit as well, and while driving in the rain isn't my favorite activity, it's certainly liveable even with RE-11's and turbos.

So for me, it's practical enough. To me an extra 2 seats or more cargo space that I don't use would just be wasted.

I understand what you are saying... but I doubt Florida gets much snow:p. It depends on everybody's situation... I own a truck.. which is 100x's more comfortable to me to DD than the Niz.

Not much snow here. And I'll agree with you that the ride can be a bit harsh. Everyone else is fine with the roads, whereas I want to find the people who work on the roads here and yell at them for not being able to make them smoother.

I actually love the ride! I love how you can feel the road. I love the outside sound too. I drive my Fj when I have work or bad weather or need the room for other things, other then that, I drive the Nismo. But I wont bash on anyone who just keeps it in their garage and only drives it every once in a while. If I could resist it, I would keep in the garage more then not.

Its your car and you can Love it the way you want too.

mine is definitely a garage queen. it would get driven less than 2k miles a year.

Wow, that is definitely a garage queen. I remember when I was shopping around for a Viper GTS, I found a 97 with only 3k miles on it .. I don't know how you guys do it, lol.

I would probably cry if I divided the dollars per mile that guy spent on his viper. A complete waste.

Stricky a good day weekend driver. I have 120 miles on it. I took delivery on Feb 29th.

USMCram 04-08-2012 08:34 PM

DD. Oct 2011. 12k miles right now

iSteve370 04-08-2012 09:08 PM

Just picked mine up Friday. I use mine as a DD, I had the base sport for 9 months and put 13,600 on that one. I personally think the suspension on the Nismo makes it a better daily driver.
