Are you running Toyo Proxes R888, by chance? I want these...I'd love to see pictures!

Any particular reason you went with 265/30 instead of 265/35?

According to 1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator, the 265/30 is over the recommended 3% difference in diameter (5.47%) compared to the 245/40.

I see 265/35 would only be a difference of about 1.5%

That's why I asked about the Toyo Proxes R888's. I believe they only come in 30 aspect ratio for 265 (instead the more common 35's that you see around here)

Today I went into Discount Tire to check my wheels. I thought maybe the alignment was off. Turns out I did 35,000 miles on the Hankooks that were on the back tires..

Here is the last of the tire before i decided to just get new ones..

So I asked about pricing on the 255 size tires that were on there already..
Then asked if I could make the tires much wider. So i chose the 275's.

Here are the results. I think it fills up the wheel well much more then the old tires. Looks better from behind too!

Took the plasti dip off to re-do... back to stock wheels for a minute!

Anyways, I think the 275s are a great choice for tire size on the base 18's!
