Silver bar behind the seats

mod bug is buggin me took the bar out and realized there is foam in there plus plastic support tubes there went the p-coat idea... so i was thinking to

mod bug is buggin me

took the bar out and realized there is foam in there plus plastic support tubes

there went the p-coat idea... so i was thinking to paint it to match my red pwjdm knob

any other suggestions

sorry no pics yet.... and has anyone used the bar for 4 point harness ?

From what I've read, it's not advisable to do so since the bar isn't solid but hollow inside.

Mine was hollow. I had no problem powdercoating it.

but what about the foam inside? it surivied the oven? plus the plasitc tubes that center it!

I saw a car (Robispec Motosports?) that they had replaced the bar with a larger one that was strong enough to use as a harness bar. Anyone know of any aftermarket solutions for this so I don't have to put in a separate harness bar?

Look into hydrographics if you don't want to remove the foam or plastic.

There was no foam or tubes in mine, just a hollow bar held in with two bolts and a bracket on each side.
