Just wanted to share since I promised I would do this. I can't spell either. It was supposed to be Moweraxle.com, lol.

Purchasing one soon and will be looking at my options to repair the drilled holes...

roplusbee 04-23-2011 10:34 PM

I take it you bought the car with it already on. The salesman handed me the bracket when he handed me the keys. I all I could do is smile........

roplusbee 04-23-2011 11:10 PM

lol...........thanks man. I needed a good laugh.

Rooskey 04-24-2011 12:07 AM

How did nobody think of this earlier. If I had to run a front plate I would make my own just like it. Cool!

68cam454 04-24-2011 12:09 AM

Do you have any pictures from further away.......side or corner shot. I have been looking for a front plate kit and even though I already got my plates in the mail, I'm still driving around with the temporary sticker and will continue to do so until it expires in June

I wil get some and put them up in the morning. Gotta pull out of the driveway though. Pretty dark around my neighborhood, lol.

Naw... they asked if I wanted it on and that it would drill holes into my bumper. I went through it in my head for a bit before I said ok and put the front plates on. If I knew there were alternatives at the time then I wouldn't have let them drill it. Never again... and I know

takjak2 04-24-2011 11:10 AM

Oh how I wish mine wasn't already drilled.

ugh, sure wish I would have known about this bracket before mine was mounted! :shakes head:

roplusbee 04-24-2011 03:35 PM

Sorry guys. Guess I should have made a thread sooner. I could have sworn I posted something in one of those threads, but I could be just trippin. I type up posts and then decide not to post, lol.............

68cam454 04-24-2011 10:26 PM

Thanks for posting those additional angle shots. As much as I hate to have anything on the front to spoil the lines of the car, that is absolutely the best alternative I've seen so far. I was going to just suction cup it to the inside of the front wndshield, but I don't think that would be legal and the metal plate could do some serious bodily injury flying around in the cabin if there was a crash of some sort.

Thanks again.

fuct 04-25-2011 08:54 AM

i like the cop pictured in the last one. the only reason we have these stupid things on anyways....

good job on the bracket!

Equinox 04-25-2011 03:52 PM

lol, I know. I kinda hate it, but I gotta keep the folks off me. Especially when I go home to Baltimore, because MD police and state troopers are more on the aggressive side.

Cell 04-25-2011 10:19 PM

I ordered mine yesterday and will be receiving it on the 27th.

takjak2 04-26-2011 12:52 PM

I have to give a body shop a call to see what they charge to fix the holes. If it is the same cost as a new bumper then I will probably settle with bumper plugs.

Ron 04-26-2011 03:37 PM

I got the one from gominigo motorsports. They make a Nismo version that is not on the website. It is adjustable, you can move it up, down, left or right. I'll post pics when I get back to my pc

Ron 04-26-2011 04:27 PM

wow! way nicer than the stillen one i modified! good job sir

Dark Sarcasm 04-29-2011 01:36 PM

im not sold on it. I think its a great idea but if i had the choice between centered with holes in the bumper or offset to the side like that, i'm gonna center it on the bumper.

roplusbee 04-29-2011 02:03 PM

There are holes set up to center it. I am going to give it a shot and see how close it gets. Be back in a bit. Gonna give it go right now..........

EDIT: Even on the hole furthest to one side, it doesn't line up centered on the bumper. I will leave it that way for a bit, but I am just going to put it back to the way I had it before. Being lazy at the moment, lol.

Dark Sarcasm 04-29-2011 06:33 PM

yea, it would look better way off to the side instead of a little off set.

NismoZ370 05-18-2011 03:05 PM

hopefully ordering the gominigo one soon before i get a ticket!

007MI6 05-31-2011 12:28 PM

I just ordered the gominigo version with the offset. Picking up mine this weekend and I was dreading putting holes in it. This beats getting pulled over every few months and one of these times I might actually get a ticket.

wind.zero 05-31-2011 05:33 PM

Mine was delivered today ...

The Z is only 11 days old so I do not have plates yet, but you get the general idea of the product.

Nothing earth shattering, just a few more pictures for reference. They have great customer service and you cannot say that about everyone. Larry emailed me a delivery date and the shipping was quick and safe.
