I love my Nismo, nice bodykit and good interior. My only complate is to Nissan. If they are going to make a sport/race model of an already amazing sports car put the turbos back in production, like the 300zx. I know I would be willing to pay more. But I just have to put them in myself this summer when I get some time away from work!

Putting twins in the Z is so easy, sadly I had to take mine out.

yeah I have been talking with Z1 Motorsports about a build. I just dont have the time right now. But I will have them in before Z nationals this year.

There's ALWAYS going to be Nismo Z vs ________ Z battle. Every Z forum I have been on, I saw there's always trash talking. I'm adding Nismo 370Z vs. _______ regular Z thread to my "quick close" list along with "Manual vs automatic" threads. I don't know why people always have to get into such arguments between various Z models. As long as you're happy with your (this is in general for for regular, convertible and Nismo owners) car, why do you care about other peoples car? Just be happy you're driving a Z. There are Nismo members here who thinks their car is touched by GOD , then at the same time, there are regular Z owner who thinks their car is the best thing in this world!!! STOP thinking in such way! We are all Z lovers and lets keep it at that. I see Nismo Z once in a while and I love it. I wish I could drive it. There's no need for Nismo owners to make fun of regular Z owners and vice versa.

Also, I have created this whole new forum ONLY for Nismo 350Z and Nismo 370z owners. You guys (Nismo guys) can ALWAYS welcome have your chitchat there. Feel free to invite any fellow Nismo 350Z owners.

It's comments like this that says I'm a Nimso hater. Wasn't this comment of mine from a different thread. The guy asked about different experiences he's had with his nismo and read the rest of the thread. The haters sure enough jumped in to say their usual BS. You can read the whole thread. I made note and then commented on what the guy wanted to hear. Experiences with the Nismo. I don't know why people here are so anti Nismo saying it's nothing special it's a waste not worth it etc. No one says a 40th is not worth the money. It's a different trim level that just looks badass. In pictures I wasn't too impressed but when I saw it in person, the rest is history. How did that make it sound like We drive 911s and the rest drive honda civics? I think that's what you got out of it because of your pre disposition. The 370Z is a sweet car. Nissan did good. The next will be even better. 400Z???

Two things I wanted in my car the nismo didn't offer so I never even considered it. I know I can always buy the body kit.

You know you can " always buy the body kit " You can probably also buy the 2 things the Nismo didn't offer that you wanted. It never ends......... Don't know what these people's problems are. You're right torpedo it would make for an interesting study. I've had enough. It's on going and relentless hatred not only towards a model of a car but for the people who have them. Prime example on the light end of the subject. I did not start this thread to say my trim is BETTER THAN YOURS. But for some reason it obviously is. I chose my options for the sports car that I wanted. Im not bias, if you got a Z or infinity, 350 or what ever lets get together for a cruise. :tiphat:

i thought this thread was closed. I don't hate nismos. Why would i hate a trim level on a car that i have? Why does everything have to be about 'hate'. When a 5 year old's mom disciplines him he says 'i hate you.' If you think i hate the trim level on your car enough to hate it, you have issues, kind of like how the pretty girl in school thinks everyone hates her because they are jealous, even though she isn't really that hot.

If someone came up to me running their mouth about how collectible the 40th is and my car isn't worth sh1t i'd say something too. You say us 'regular' Z owners aren't used to 'envy.' Get it through your head, No one is ENVYing us for our 30k sports cars. Jesus how superficial can you be. Most people with a car of some sort could AFFORD a Z. Anyone with an altima or maxima probably could have managed paying for the car but it simply didn't work for them.:shakes head:

Somewhat back on topic...
I had some crazy guy in a Ford Explorer chase me down yesterday. I turned a corner and he was behind me. He turned after ~30secs and came up flying on my left. After pacing me a few secs he gave me a thumbs up. Its a little unsettling at times. Just weird. :icon14:
I am sure this happens to all 370 owners. They are all great looking cars.

Why would you hate a trim level on a car.... Oh it's a different trim level now, maybe that's it so you can understand better now. Relating this to a 5 yr olds temper tantrum??? Really. And thinking people hate you??? Man it's like talking to a brick wall. Look at every nismo thread no matter what the topic and there's always someone who has to add their negative feedback on the Nismo. And envy,. yeah people look at my Nismo and say hey that's badass. And they do like it and ENVY it, they wish they had one. And according to you and the rest of the haters our Nismos wasn't $30k its $40k ten grand more for a "body kit." You may not hate the car but you certainly show a bias towards people who bought them. I don't see a single thread or comment that Nismo owners started saying how better the Nismo is vs a base just defending comments against the onslaught of haters. Nismo owners talking about their experiences and wanting to share what others they have come across think. And you can't deny it. It's written in black and white. And you're right I do have an issue and that issue is people like you.

I think AK summed it up nicely, and honestly, my attitude is about the same. I know a number of local Nismo owners, and I love their Z's. They're in our diverse Mid-Atlantic group, along with a number of coupes, a few gorgeous roadsters, and even a Maxima and Mustang! It's about enthusiasm for cars, and it's fun to marvel over the differences between the trims. One of our roadster owners bought the stock Nismo exhaust off of one of our local Nismo owners (since he did aftermarket). The Z is a fantastic car, and all owners should be proud of what they drive. From $30k base model (like mine) to roaster with sport/touring and everything in between, I love seeing these cars and talking to their owners. :tup:
