Yesterday was the first autocross of the season, and the first one in the NISMO (I did a couple races in my old Saturn Ion Redline, but that was probably 7-8 years ago). It was a blast! The annoying thing was that there were probably 175+ cars racing, so it took forever!

And I can confirm what everyone says about oil coolers! I didn't look after my 2 morning runs, but after my 2 afternoon runs, my oil temp gauge was sitting right at 220.

I ended up being pretty slow compared to everyone else, but seeing as how it was my first race with the Z (and in 7-8 years), I wasn't expecting much. I think my problem was that I was trying to go too fast and not braking enough before the turns.

Yea, the pictures look great and as much as I'm generally against graphics, I think it looks great.

I grabbed one of the "NISMO" stickers that are on the hood for my car on Amazon. Going white letters and red "O" on a black nismo. Should break up the look of the hood a bit. Hopefully in not a total rice-tastic way

The Z is such a great looking car!

Went to pick up a new C7 Corvette today and left it right there when they offered me $19K for my Nismo the way it sits. I'm not one to sit at dealerships and Bullshiit all day so I kindly shook his hand and thanked him for his time. I turned every head at that dealership when I pulled in and have no regrets bringing my Z back home.

You know what Z-Girl, I think it was something I just had to get out of my system, I wanted a Vette since I was a kid and I test drove it and honestly, the WOW factor just wasn't there for me.

I did exactly the same thing a couple years ago. The extra power was great, but I felt I wasn't getting much more than that for the money.
