Turnin heads...

Today was the perfect day for cruising in Arizona! Had one dude stalking the Nis.. He turned around in the middle of the street and chased me down so he could get some video with his iPhone and kept giving me the thumbs up for 5 miles. It was pretty cool and funny, at the same time. Also ran into a pair of Fisker Karma's during the cruise. Those things look great from 20 feet away, but they are slow as dry snails, and the body panels we nowhere near aligned! Seeing this made me sad. Hope you all had a great weekend!

Also, gave the Nis a bath tonight -- but it was a little too dark to get a clear photo. Figured I'd post it anyways. Cheers!

*Not sure why the second attachment is upside down. The file looks okay on my computer... Any advice?

It's airlift struts/bags with autopilot v2 management and dual 400c viair compressors. I'll be upgrading management soon though. To the airlift 3H system

Nice! Can't wait to see the new wheels on the nismo:tup:

xdragus 02-15-2016 09:26 PM

@Electrify904 are you running any wheel spacers?

Anyone else running spacers with their 2016 nismo? is there a need or is the factory offsets aggressive enough?

just planning out my "to buy" list for my 2016 Nismo PW that arrives in april ;p

No I don't have spacers. I'm in the same boat right now. I've been researching suspension and spacers. I saw a 2015/16 lowered on stock wheels with 20MM spacers all around it looked really good.

1cleanZ 03-09-2016 03:32 PM

???? Sorry man, but your "splitter" is literally hanging off the car.
You also realize its causing more harm them good at that angle right? Its creating lift vs downforce.

Sir I have to agree with you! I just didn't want to be the first to say it LoL, I was under the impression that we already have a splitter and diffuser built into our bumpers I could be wrong and don't know if they work, unless you hit 88 mph and a bolt of lightning:tiphat:

Personally I love the look of an added splitter to complete the Nismo "oem splitter". I can't stand how it raises up in the middle, but if you work w/ it and mount it correctly, a quality splitter does wonders.

Outstanding front splitter  This will work while driving :driving:

Hotrodz 03-10-2016 12:36 PM

I have the same splitter and have run up to 150 mph with no feeling of lift or the front on the car feeling like it wants to float.

1cleanz are you using .5" spacer were it rises or more?

Hey Bob!

I start with two 1" for the middle and 2 1/2" spacer on the outside, and then the two outters I use a dremel and grind off an angle as it gets smaller so it sits very flush to make sure its not adding anymore stress to the lip/splitter.

Looking forward to seeing you at ZdayZ my friend!

Hotrodz 03-10-2016 02:04 PM

Okay got it, I think might make that adjustment.

ZDayZ for FTW...it's going to be great!

It's bolted on Firmly, no gaps and it's not hanging off anywhere. May look that way from the pic because of the shadow, who knows............
I love it and didn't want to spend $500 for one and it's strictly Aesthetics, I could care less about the down force because I don't race or track it, besides when I really wanna go fast, I drive that 500 hp SRT8 sitting next to it :happydance:
