Just got my baby
Just picked up a new 2013 Nismo 370z with Bose(no kick plates or rear view can). Got it yesterday from PA and drove home in snow :shakes head: . But the car handled much better then I thought it would. Just took it to the beach and back and there's a slight burning smell(no I'm not feathering the crap outta the clutch lol). I think the smell is normal for new car right?
But I am loving the way the car handles. Best handling car I've driven yet. Haven't taken it past 4.5rpm for first thousand miles or so to break her in just right lol. I went from: silver 05 maxima(transmission went twice) Then got new 2010 g37s white (some lady pulled out to make a turn and I couldn't avoid her) (totaled oct 2012) Now Nismo 370z Been on the forum for a while learning alot. |
Congrats and Welcome! :hello:

Check out a Clearbra before your vulnerable front end gets all chipped up, then relax and enjoy your beautiful new car.
|
smell is normal, and congrats!
|
Very nice! But what does feathering the clutch mean?
|
Been trying to find a place to get a clear bra on Long Island.
(someone correct me if im wrong) feathering the clutch is when shifting you hold the clutch at the "threshold" where it engages for to long which will burn the clutch out |
