Hey guys I Just recently purchased a 2011 370Z Nismo Coupe after several months of looking and long decision making....
I previously had a 2010 Honda Civic Si Sedan and obviously there is no comparison...
Before the trade-in I had many cars in mind...Challenger SRT8, BMW 1 Series, Lancer EVO, G37S, Impreza STI and the Camaro SS....
However I am glad I choose the Zed and believe I made the right decision...

The car is obviously being stored for the winter as I live in Toronto Canada and our winters are brutal....
Can anyone give me some idea's on Mods???...I def wanna get CAI's...which ones are best for my car???....Stillen? Injen? RC2 or R2C??

Hey, welcome and congrats on the car.

There are a lot of mods you can do but the typical ones are intake and exhaust (for performance). You will hear many different things about intakes and whatnot, IMO the post MAF tubes with filters are the best option because ive heard the cold air intakes create a lot of heat through the metal piping from the engine and the differences in HP are very similar once additional parts are added (exhaust). But others will say different. Search the forum and read up on everything, there is tons of info here...

Welcome and great choice in the car.
What color?

I think like Pelican mentioned above you will hear many different opinions on what's best. At the end of the day it's more a personal choice. IMO, if you get intakes do not get short ram. I got the stillen gen III intake becuase that has the most proven gains and I like the way they look in the engine bay.

FYI: They do not get hot, even after lots of driving. I have only seen one person claim their's was hot and I think there was something wrong.

Post MAF tubes and drop in air filters seem to be another popular option. They do not add as much power but they are a good bang/$. The stock intake is not horrible so this mod is good as well.

Once you do multiple mods the effects of the intakes is not so noticeable. If you search the forum you can find a lot of info about intakes and even more about exhausts. Youtube videos can show the sounds.

Sorry and not to be rude, but this i do not believe. Even my HPS silicone tubes are hot after driving. Take it for a drive for 30 mins and open the hood and put your hand on the tube, it will be super hot.

Intake, good exhaust and cats or test pipes will get you that or very close...

Congrats and welcome!

The best mod anyone can do is the driver mod. Track time. But you'll be waiting a few months
