Default Got myself a used 2013 Nismo

Hello everybody my name is Mike and this is my first Z. I had a 2009 pontiac G8 with a TVS SC and was putting down 525 to the wheels before decided to go another route. SCCA (wiregrass of Alabama) runs a track day at a local stage field about 7 miles away from my house so I needed something nimble. Did a lot of research and found the nismo Z to be what was in store for me. I bought it last month and so far I love the car. Even though it doesn't have the power of my last car its a hoot to drive, and will fair better on the track. I plan on going up to Road Atlanta a few times a year also. So far I have bought AFE filters, Z1 after MAF silicone tubes, Z1 stainless brake lines, Beluga racing axel back's, and tomorrow my Osiris tuning will be here. Cant wait for a little wake up with her and the tune. Future plans are oil cooler, two piece rotors from Z1,and of course new pads and some new fluid. Also I have been researching the brake venting via the stillen kit and some DIY intakes. I have been on this site almost everyday researching what this car takes to seriously track and the brake system seemed to be the true downfall of the nismo. anyways its been nice just trolling this site soaking up the Z knowledge. Thanks to everyone that has posted in the DIY.

quality pads, fluid, and SS lines should really help at the track.

Yep. I have the premium Z1 stainless lines. Probably going with the Z1 two piece rotors and a set of HP+ for track days and HPS for DD. I'll change to the dot4 or higher fluid when I do the stainless line mod.

Yeah I'm thinking some HC. I have the uprev and not impressed. I expected to feel it a little more. Do you think the stock cats are holding back that much.
