Just got my new 3" Antenna in and installed it today.

Heres a DIY.

Take the old Antenna and twist counter clockwise until it screws off.
Then twist the new one on clockwise.

jlbrenne 09-18-2012 12:42 PM

Fenders came in..Thanks Aerojacket!!!! They look pefect. Shipping was fast and they were packaged very well.

I'm having them installed October 10th-16th. Cant wait. I really hope they dont have to blend the metallic black with the hood and doors because that raises the price of the install significantly.

chefsung 09-21-2012 12:32 AM

yo. nice car!
Im atlanta also. do you mind letting me hear your car after you get your HFC installed?

Neoatw 10-04-2012 11:38 AM

Nice Ride! Exact same color as mine.... Wanna see how the fender turns out!

Hey guys, been MIA for a month or so. I did get the fenders installed and painted. I will post some pictures tonight. Turned out GREAT!! Since the car is black its hard to see far away but from up close its a beauty... Next is HFC's and Gen III intake (all will be getting installed at Z1..in a few months).

jlbrenne 10-26-2012 11:36 AM

Added the new Fender pics. Just with my iphone..sorry for the quality..im certainly no photographer. i just thought of something..i probably should take some with the top down..ill do that in a little bit and add them.

Also, Just got a custom wing in for my Roadster. I believe I am the first person to have this particular one.

Hope you enjoy the pics!!!!!!!!!!!

Just an update. I just pulled the trigger finally on Swift springs, Stillen HFC, and Stillen Gen 3 CAI. I bought the Springs from a sponser for a very very good price-thanks! I got the CAI from a member selling a used one-thanks! I got the HFC's directly from Stillen!!!!

I have appointment to get the Springs and the HFC's installed this coming MONDAY from a buddy of mine that started a new shop here in Atlanta!!!!

The CAI i'm going to wait and have it installed the same day I get an UPREV-prolly at Z1 (maybe in a month)...

I'll take some pics of everything once they arrive.

UPDATE: I just got the CAI installed as well!!!!!!!!!!!

jlbrenne 06-13-2013 07:42 PM

I updated the pics..enjoy

Next project is getting a tune and painting and installing my Evo-r LIP

jlbrenne 03-10-2014 11:44 AM

Alright guys, getting the tune Wednesday at Z1...Also, getting the VQ37 manifold installed. Ill keep you posted on the results.

jlbrenne 03-13-2014 07:49 AM

Tune went great.

310whp, 254 torq. I'll post charts once I receive them.

GTHAUS Meisterschaft kept me from gaining more WHP due to the tubing being narrow. Gained on Torq though!!!

There is a sound clip as well on you tube if any one is interested.

Jerry's 370 vert- you tube

Can def feel a difference in the way the car drives. Low to mid range especially.

jlbrenne 03-13-2014 02:16 PM

Today I finally purchased my Amuse Kit as well. 5-7 days to ship; 4 days to install and paint. I'll post pictures of everything once it comes in .

Amuse Came In~Let the Fabricating Begin

Well, Duraflex came in very quickly. About 3 business days from Cali to Atlanta. Packaging was very good. The box it came in was freakin HUGE.

After inspecting the pieces nothing was cracked or broke. A few dings here and their but thats about it.

Flexability didnt seem bad but I didnt have the feelings that I could twist and turn the product without damaging it (but, I didnt try either).

I will now get quotes and get it installed ASAP. I will post pictures of the process and the a final statement of the outcome.

G luck to me~

I decided sinse the body shop has the car, and will have OEM paint, to help out and sand the handles for them to paint. Even though I will be getting the doors shaved, I figure since we have the paint why not.

Here some pics of the primed rear and front bumper.

Ran into a problem with the lisc plate lights. Original ones will not fit and Would have to be modified ; more trouble than its worth. So, we will be replacing those with new LED's.

*Got the new LED's. Just a strip that we will mount on top of the bumper and wire them to run with my lights.

**Some twisting and bending for fitment caused some crackes in the paint that will need to be resanded and repainted. Project should be finished by EOD or early tomorrow.

*Important Update on Dura Kit Sides!!!!!!

3 Attachment(s)
Duraflex Full Kit:

YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR OEM SIDE SKIRTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Dura fits over the OEM. If you dont use the OEM you will have 4-5" gap between the bottom- that can be easy seen when you open the door.

I have put pictures to show this. If you look closely the Dura sides in the pictures are placed on top of the OEM so you can see how much of the structure is actually missing... ITS CRAZY!!!!!.

Even installed on top of the OEM it will stick out about 1/4" which is not a huge deal to me but its def. not ideal.

Look at the pictures below to see what im talking about. The first picture is the Duraflex right beside the OEM ...SIDE BY SIDE of each other......The second picture is the Dura on top of the OEM....look at the difference and whats missing....The picture where Im pointing the duraflex again is still on top of the OEM---where im pointing is the OEM skirt which is missing from the Duraflex..Yes, that whole bottom part....

*UPDATE: Car finished. Duraflex kit will need installer/fabricator that has had experience installing this kit. Not saying others w/o experience couldnt install it- but the cost would be way to high without a hookup. I will post iphone pics first. Then prof. pics later.
