GTM says frack off to us
 
My first post..

owner of r32gtr, 350z,
importer of Cosworth, Power Enterprise etc.

send our employee to pick up set of spark plugs for 370Z today

their employee says...good to pick up

went there..30min drive from our place

another employee says not taking any "will call"

we complanit ~

owner says fcuk off?

From international community, I only heard good words from many of my partner companies in Japan caring GTR's.

I am not sure how this can be happen for such huge business owner to say such thing to us.

I like to know how GTM treat members here?

GTM dealers are also our dealers in international companies

Im a new member and this is my first post.
I am the owner of a r32gtr, 350z, and also an importer of Cosworth, Power Enterprise etc.

We sent our employee to pick up a set of spark plugs for 370Z today.

The GTM employee says..."good to pick up (its ready)"

Our employee went there..30min drive from our place

another GTM employee says we dont have any "we'll call you when we do"

we filed a complanit ~

I beg your pardon? At no time did we ever swear at you or any of your employees. We conduct ourselves professionally thank you very much.

Now, your employee Miguel called us on Friday asking if we had HKS spark plugs on the shelf. We said that we do...still do, in fact.

Later in the day, you called again asking to start a dealer account with us so that you can get a discount on those spark plugs. We told you that you can fill out a dealer application on our website and e-mail it to us.

You called again asking if you could drop off the dealer application in person. At that time, things were looking pretty hectic here and I told you I'd have to call you back and see if we'd be available to talk to you when you came in. I checked our schedule, and we had a lot going on. I called you back and told you that unfortunately, we are simply too backed up with work to give you the attention we like to give our dealers and that it would be best if you e-mail the dealer application to us.

You called again and talked to Sam. I overheard him telling you that we are not set up for Will Call and that for quickest turn around time, that you would be better served purchasing on the website.

At 5:30pm or so, Miguel and another guy show up here. He asked about buying the HKS spark plugs. Since I overheard Sam telling him specifically, that we are not setup for Will Call, I was very confused...especially after I already told him that it wasn't a good day to come by. Sam came out and told him that our shipping guy was in the middle of putting a kit together that needed to ship today before close of business. He also told him "I don't understand why you are here after the conversations we had on the phone."

Excuse me if I missed the part where we told you to "frak off". Because we didn't and we were not rude either. We were 100% straight up with you. For you to join this site with the sole intention of trying to discredit us for not selling you a set of spark plugs is ridiculous at best.

I regret to inform you that the world does not revolve around you and poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on ours.

I tend to believe the shop in the fact that they were professional in their response and think someone thought they ought to be served up like a king and got denied...lol

OP comes off a little childish, sounds like you wanted something NOW and didn't get it. I've questioned GTM on here myself, its not a good idea. All in all GTM has shown professionalism, quality parts and unlike many other very busy companies, doesn't use their overwhelming workload as an excuse. All that and they put all my questions to rest by announcing the TSC kit :)

It sounds like english isn't his first language. The whole thing probably stems from not being able to understand what the guys at GTM were saying....not to mention I'd be pretty surprised to find a shop that would rather ship products rather than allow someone to pick them up.

Maybe ease up with piling on the guy. PowerAXEL isn't well known here, but they are pretty reputable amongst the genesis crowd...

Especially given how liberally harassment is interpreted here...probably wise to back off...

As far as how we choose to conduct our business, we used to be in a different facility with a cash register, showroom, etc. We've moved away from that business model and mainly do R&D and manufacturing. We don't even have a sign on our building because we got tired of all the tire kickers wasting our time.

interest in getting involved in any of the GTM vs shop XYZ threads.

It sounds like something got lost in translation, perhaps between employees of powerAXEL, and through no fault of yours. It is really irrelevant to me. All I care about is making sure the guys that are valuable contributors to the site don't get dragged into the mud-slinging and get punished.
