I will keep you posted but I am beginning to have second thoughts. I've been reading a lot of complaints from other owners about high oil temps, even during normal driving conditions. This must be addressed by Nissan before I shell out $30K + on this car. This is a critical concern for me because it gets hot here in the summer in AL. I don't like the sound of potentially damaging the engine due to high oil temps. That is ridiculous for a sports car that is expected to be driven a little hard.

I don't think you'll damage your engine with normal driving. The car will limit your revs when the temps are too high. Others can clarify this if I am wrong.

I'm curious if the new Nismo 370z will have an oil cooler as part of the performance package. Havent seen or read that it will but i could have missed it.

I don't get why the Z's are heating up to limp mode.
The G has the same engine and has just 2 hp less with no oil temp issues (with the exception of track days)
