searching for the Z

I've been "researching" the purchase of a sports car for over half my life. Like a previous post, I've had "sporty" 4-seaters ('71 Ford Torino with 351 - a Pontiac LeMans - current ride is a 2001 Toyota Solara V6 SLE that I purchased new). I am ready for a Z, but am preoccupied by the options like: to buy latest-model new from a dealer or find a "lot worn" '09 with lowest mileage; to buy base or touring or Nismo or Coupe or Roadster; and to add aftermarket add-ons like super-charger, exhaust, audio, spokes and treads and wings - blah, blah, blah - but so much fun looking. Opinions from this forum, that motivate me to make an actual purchase, will be very appreciated ('
